Right just had a chat with bet 365 ive boldedx my bits to help it out, basically i had to cancel my card the other day and recieved my new one yesterday and attempted to with draw some money on to it but for some reason it wouldnt let me so i contacted live support as told to

Yeah exactly only wanted my old card removed when i tried to with draw it said to speak to live help to assist me, bloody p1ssed me of not assist me [:o][:o]Grin Never had this trouble the other day with Betfair went straight in and changed it

you have to think of it from the point of view of a criminal. obviously you are not allowed to deposit from one card and withdraw straight to another, that would allow all sorts of dirty money dealings. now while this doesnt apply to you, simply coming on and saying "oh come on, its been cancelled, just let me feckin do it" isnt going to work, or all the criminal types would do this.

your seeth seems pretty disproportionate to the actual problem, they say theyll have resolved in 24 hrs (which will involve them sending the payment, it getting refused, and the process happening how you wanted initially - annoying maybe, but legally its what they must do). also, anything you sent now wouldnt get processed tonight, the first time itll actually be set in motion is tomorrow night with all of mondays bank tansactions, so youre seething over nothing.

ps why were you so determined not to use a phone, are you some sort of pikey

As Onionss said i dont like talking to people on the phone as i would get totally p1ssed of at least when im typing they cant hear me Laugh I got the bit obvisily about illegal goings on hence why i asked if i deposited some from my new account and then withdrew would that work ?

When having experienced the same scenario in the past, depositing from new card (and withdrawing) has been the solution. Know where you're coming from - chatting with a 'service' representative which clearly has not been in 'our end'. Might be due to the representatives being paid slightly more than £3.65/hr - but that's the way the cookie crumbles/can expect. Hope you get solved the card issue.

What's your problem? I just read that (a couple of minutes of my life I won't get back) and it's quite clear she understands what's going on, it's you that doesn't seem to understand! The procedure is there to help protect customers.

Once they try on your old card and it fails thereby establish that the story that you need a NEW card is probably correct, they'll use it. If someone just calls and says old card is duff please put money into this one, then they try old card, all that will happen is the CORRECT person will get money credited and a potential fraud is prevented.

It's not difficult.

If I was a CS rep and someone started screaming for a manager and the complaints dept within a short time of trying to resolve a relatively simple problem I'd form "an opinion" about the person I was dealing with.

Having said that I'm trying to imagine being a CS rep dealing with some of the people on these forums (not all of you of course) - they probably deserve medals ;)

No far from Liverpool, i was tring to get her to answer simple questions but she was ignoring them hence why i was getting p1ssed of, I understood the 24 hour thing but not why i couldnt talk to a supervisor which i have been able to before. And she didnt have a clue i asked for a email address oh they dont have one i bring it up oh yeah thats it, ask her why she said they didnt have one oh i dont know useless service

Well my nephew plays in Indonisia in their 2nd division and he text me this afternoon about a game tomorrow (early hours)that will bring every penny you have lost and tons more into your bank account.
