Had a PS3 about 6 years ago used to enjoy FIFA on that as well as the Megadrive in the 90's but this FIFA 10 on PS3 is not the average gamer is it, I have played 8 times now and not even scored.
Am I just crap or is it just a bit too bloody hard??????????

it's stupidly hard to score in this game, as I said about a week ago there are about 2-3 main ways of scoring and they are mainly boring.
Too easy for defence to take the ball off you Virtually impossible to dribble past a player |

I only bought the actual console 4 weeks ago like.
I have also got Virtua Tennis which is alright but I thought it would be better. Just bought Madden 10 this morning - hoping that's gonna be more addictive because this FIFA 10 is not enjoyable to tell the truth. |

Theres loads of ways to score in Fifa. You just have to be inventive. Aimlessly trying to run though the defence will get you nowhere. Patient build up is the key. And make good use of the L1 button to set players on a run.
And instead of just using triangle to put a through ball, try triangle and L1 together to launch a lofted through ball. This will catch a lot of defenders out, especially those with less pace. For any more hints, just ask. |

treble I have used the *****through ball, the 1-2 making my players run, 96% of the time the defenders chest down the chipped ball and 99% of the time they run faster than the striker even if its T Henry vs Malky Mckay.
P.S Does L1 make a player run if you haven't first passed it with him? Pro evolution has been the greatest football game by far but unfortunately it too has become a stupid pass pass pass pass almost impossible to dribble and score from distance game. |
