Been reading on the BBC site that their are some doubts about him playing again. Shame if it were to be true, thought he was a really good old style centre forward. If it werent for the injuries i think he could well have been one of the best strikers in the premier league at the minute. A fit and in form Ashton would be a brilliant option for the England world cup squad.
