All the pro's are too busy hedging off their Lee Bowyer to hit the bar bet's......imo

Best bet might be to lay birmingham in the 'next goal' market. If liverpool score first you'll win that bet. The market will then re-open and do the same.
If it gets to half time and its still 0-0 then close out your bet at improved odds and win anyway. Good luck |

Id just avoid this bet
By:
yes thats how i cover clean sheet bets in the 2nd half

50 cent doubles 15 cent trebles
Real Mallorca to score BH against Barca 25/1 WON Arsenal to score 4 or more goals 11/2 WON Burnley to score Both halves v Man City 16/1 WON Ive won 800 on the above but the last leg of the bet is Birmingham to score both halves v Liverpool which will win me 2,700 tonight if it comes in because of all the Trebles and Doubles that will accumulate from this bet if it comes in. !!! |
By:
Laying birmingham in the next goal market sure Birmingham are probably 1/7 so to lay id need 7 pounds to win 1
that aint an option ! |
By:
Just let it run, if they score in the 1st half then get laying in the second. The amonuts you would win laying off are minimal. Plus you already have won 800.

4.4 steve for a bulls eye

well said Clint ! your probably right and what a name eh clint :)
By:
sit down with a notebook and calculator and make some calculations while u got time mate trust me you may ending up chasing after if birmingham dont score first half, consider both outcomes and how much of your profit your willing to sacrifice
By:
well said clint

I agree 800 is great to have won but its a big difference another 2700 would make for a Wonderful Xmas and a happy new year :) :) :)
By:
Bounce back your right also i think i'll let the bet run !!
i mean if and its a big IF, if birmingham score first half then thats the time to get on laying them to score again probably ! cheers for the advice guys ! |
By:

lay Brum to score in the 1st half correct score market....and then again in the 2nhalf correct score market ... only way... ???? how do you mean i go into correct score and lay what ? |
By:
hi steve, i guess he means lay 1st half scores that involve brum scoring.
By:
as in lay 0-1 and 1-1
nah the liability is too much if it comes in and they might not score 2nd half then ! |
By:

By:
wait to see if they score first half then lay them to score next... every time liverpool score then you will win extra...
By:
i win 1.4k if they do it too.... :)
By:
steve - the reason the liability's so high on the hedges suggested is that brum scoring in both halves is such a long shot. they have 4 away goals in 5 outings; the chance of them getting 2 in one game against an above average side who've conceded 4 in 5 home games, AND them coming one in each half is, what? certainly less than 10%, imo.
so unless you find a wrong price somewhere (unlikely) any hedge isn't going to get your total even up over a grand. your best bet is to just enjoy the 800, mentally discount the other 1900, watch the match, then if brum score in the first half have a plan for what to do before the second half starts. good luck. |
By:
hey Sheriff your 1.3k up right already and you'll win another 1.4k :) very good.
Ive already got 800 but If birmingham score in both halves tonight i'll get an extra 2.7k :) bl sq wont like us two if it comes in :) it will be nerve wrecking i dont think i can watch lol :) |
By:
*sorry, discount 2700 not 1900. rest stands though.

wait to see if they score first half then lay them to score next... every time liverpool score then you will win extra... Sheriff is this what your going to do ? I dont see many goals in this game all depends if torress plays. birmingham won 1-0 last time in Anfield Birmingham are benitez bogey side too. Lost twice and drew 4 against them |
By:
Thanks Viva i suppose it all depends if Birmingham score 1st half your right !
By:
terrible nightmare last night Sheriff.
Liverpool & Birmingham were 1-1 at half time. Birmingham missed a penalty 2nd half and then i woke up screaming and then it was time to go to work. |

Nice one Steve.
But I have to ask (as I have done many times before in similar threads), why do people include bets in accumulators if they know they'll want to lay it off before the event? It nearly always cost more to lay it off than the bet was worth. I know in this case you have doubles and trebles as well, but the practice of laying off the last bet in an acca is nearly always -EV. I'd do what a previous poster has said - hope they score in the first half then perhaps you can lay it off for the second half goal. |
By:
Yeah, so if you don't want to let it ride then if they score in the first half, you should be able to get something like 1.33 on them not scoring in the second half. Put about £2000 on that so you win £660 if they don't score and £700 if they do.
I got the 1.33 from SportingBet. I can't get more than £1 on with them. I'd have a look around at which bookies could offer that market - B365 could be an option. There isn't a market on Betfair that directly corresponds to your bet - you'd have to use the correct score market and dutch every score that doesn't include another Birmingham goal right up to any unquoted for equal profit (use a dutching calculator during half time). That might well give you better odds. good luck :) |
By:
if i was in your position steve, as youve already won a good amount, id let it run, and if Birmingham score in the first half then, id lay them to score second half
gl mate |
By:
if they score in the first half lay them for the next goal at ht
they score, you make what your lay is, they concede, u win on next goal so roll profit over and lay again |
By:
back over 2.5 goals it may come in and u may still win the other bet
By:
Birmingham to score in both halves
BWAAAAAAHHHHHAAAAAHHHHHAAAA |
By:
Rictus1 09 Nov 17:51 if they score in the first half lay them for the next goal at ht they score, you make what your lay is, they concede, u win on next goal so roll profit over and lay again Seems like a complicated and strange way of doing it. How much would you lay for and what price do you think you'd get? And don't you mean "they score, you lose what your lay is"? |
By:
Doing a rough calculation, you have around 130 quid 'stake' money riding tonight, given that odds on Betfair are likely to work out higher than those being offered by Bl Sq, the value of your bet is probably around 100 quid at present, so only real alternative is to hope they score first half.
I would expect they'd be around 3/1 or 4/1 to repeat the feat in the second half. sj |
