We are all in the same boat on here. Have the highs and lows.

Cruel to mock someone who has had a bad night.

Could happen to anyone with bad luck

Im guessing ur not the only bin lid here to loose tonight on them scouse chumps. Shudda joined us on the milwall thread. 1.58 a full 23 ticks above liverpool pre KO & without doubt a safer bet

I find it difficult to sympathise I'm afraid. How can you bet your whole bank on any sporting event? I wouldn't even bet my entire bank on Djibril Cissé turning up with an ill-advised hair/beard combo at some point in the next 3 years.
Report madlung • November 9, 2009 9:22 PM GMT
how much u lose 4 quid ??
Report get in there gamsty! • November 9, 2009 9:23 PM GMT
1) when you lose don't lose the lesson, remember this and learn.
2) sometimes losing can be a blessing, you could have made a much bigger loss in the future if you succeeded tonight and thought you could go all in again on a stupid bet. :)
Report thankyoumugs • November 9, 2009 9:23 PM GMT
liverpool created many losers tonight, your not alone. unlucky
Report The Betfairy • November 9, 2009 9:24 PM GMT

Too true. Anyone cango on a winning streak, few can handle a losing streak. That's a lesson to all.
Report Just Checking • November 9, 2009 9:26 PM GMT
Surely when liverpool went ahead was time to lay off for pennies???

The nightmare scenario is when the firm favourites DON'T go ahead!
Report lux_interior • November 9, 2009 9:27 PM GMT
i've handled many a losing streak ;)

Report rod hull • November 9, 2009 9:45 PM GMT
you shouldnt have been so stupid and put your whole bank on a team who has only won 1 of their last 8 matches and still dont have their only two decent players fit.
Report highgosforthpark • November 9, 2009 9:46 PM GMT
where is the edge betting on the premier league?

the markets are incredibly tight
everyones trying
form is practically irrelevant
Report Rachrose • November 9, 2009 9:47 PM GMT
I feel sorry for you but you have to ask yourself this question.
Why back a low odds on shot to win when all the stats are against them. I'm genuinely interested to know why. Was it just because of the clubs name?
* liverpool have terrible recent form - birmingham were all over citeh and looked on form.
* recent history in the premier league suggested liverpool struggle in this fixture last winning 7 games ago.
* the spine of the team was missing which essentially makes them a pub team.
Report mad paddy • November 9, 2009 9:47 PM GMT
putting your whole bank on is just plain stupid.then not layin off??

i did give up for about 2 and half years in big way,
betting every day for about 10 years, then had to take time out.
done my**big time, had to quit.
went travelling for a 2 years, came back home, didnt get a job for a bit and slipped back into it, and carried on the las 5 years, im not a profitable gambler,(not many, are there) but i do enjoy it. i think it'll always be with me, and probably every one on here too.

exactly...im sorry but no1 can tell me that they backed liverpool with confidence at 1/2 when they saw the teamsheet...therefore u have to assume they backed them prior to team announcement....and im not sure which 1 of these 2 scenarios results in u being a bigger mug.

sorry to hear John .

But why the whole bank on one bet ? thats something i couldnt bring myself to do
Report thelatarps • November 9, 2009 11:52 PM GMT
Think the simple fact is
Were liverpool able to defend set pieces then the 1.36 would have been an absolute steal
And our friend was absolutely right to get involved
IMO backing the big 4 at home v the likes of Birmingham CIty is by and large a good idea
An argument about Livs form maybe but its called gambling after all

Report Diamond Jumper • November 10, 2009 12:04 AM GMT
happened to me many a time......worst story for me was winning 5g at wdon dogs on a weekend and having it on the mantlepiece...going to sandown and**ing most of it on a horse ridden by fallon for pipe that had been backed all day long....went lame in first two hundred yards..done the rest in later races......

i have learnt a bit now to keep ahold of things and not go for glory when your up......bankruptcy does that to you....i am happy now to nick a nifty plus with small bets..
