i did put up a great banker bet earlier in the season...man citys to win there first game at 6/4...i may search my thread as i thought it was a evens shot from the get go.....it did end up close to that in the end........i put this up sometime before the game as bookies had priced up the first games well ahead...man city were buying all these good players and obviously it was difficult for bookies to change coupon prices in the first week so held them quite well...

found it ..i started it under bet of the century....

no seriously....i liken this bet to liverpool at swndon some years ago when they were 11/10 and ended up about 4/6 ish/....i tried my best to get about 3 grand on with ar dennis and got knocked back as per usual....still got average about evens in the end result was 5-1 i think.....amazing price

got to bet odds against as odds on betting is way to poor house!!

i think it should be at best now 11/10 shot just based on teams at present so anything else is a bonus.....bookies have already amended the price....seriously as a bet to lay it has got to be buying money.....

most people where betting man city in that game, as with most of the opening weeks fixtures the bookies where taken to the cleaners.

but it just shows you that bookies got it wrong with the price...wondered what their thinking was behind wanting to lay them??????

if bookies priced them alot shorter on the day , maybe fav punters would of piled on and bookies faced a bigger payout, people get easly put off by prices.
