Morning and a lovely one as Chelsea sit 5 points clear at the top. Love all this talk of Chelsea not being impressive yesterday, United better team, ref poor, United injuries, etc etc etc.
Well the facts are that you win games by scoring. Something Manu never remotely looked liked doing yesterday.C helsea did have a ploor game by the high atandards they have been setting this year. But I always thought the sign of a good side is winning and getting a result when your not at your best. Utd have been great at that for many years. All this talk of africans nation is just a smoke screen to the fact that Utd, Arsenal etc realise that Chelsea the team to beat this year. The four games they miss should be winnable without Drogba and Essien. Last season with Scholari CFC lost all the big games. This season with the calm tactically astute Anchellotti they have won there 2 big games without conceding. Face the facts folks Chelsea are flying and kicking for home. You cant win the title in November but you can put yourself in a great position to do so. KTBFFH.

Dont worry sj. I am the most negitive bloke around when it comes to counting chickens etc. But we will win it by 12 points this season. Not cos we grest but the wealth of experience and the flaws in our oppos this year mean we have to win it and win it well!!!

your boys have flawas aswell tbf.

I expect you will win the league.

But not as easily as you think.

The test will come in Jan when the likes of Ballack (who looked way past it yesterday),and Deco will have to play full out for 90 mins game after game.
Report jeac • November 9, 2009 9:20 AM GMT
once african nations cup is around chelsea will struggle unless they have replaced players...
Report sintonian • November 9, 2009 9:21 AM GMT
they will most likely buy a couple of players in Jan.

then should send all the champers to the referees, because there gonna be the real champions not chelsea....total farce

Like the one we got in the champs league semi last year pmsl

Will have this tied up before the African Nations comes round imo. Utd are finished and no challenge coming from elsewhere.
Report Jimbo747 • November 9, 2009 11:23 AM GMT
If arsenal beat chelsea on 29th, you might think differently.
Report denniswise11 • November 9, 2009 12:04 PM GMT
Dont think that will happen . Arsenal brilliant if u let them play. Cant see Chelsea midfield allowing that.
Report R0ykeane • November 9, 2009 12:10 PM GMT
different year, same shi t around november
Report Ruari • November 9, 2009 12:33 PM GMT
to me liverpool are still the only realistic challengers , once the big boys are back we could win 20 in a row!

:^0 leg puller.

All I hear from oppo fans is that chelsea will struggle because we'll lose 4 Africans during January.

Well, Mikel and Kalou are hardly the first names on the team sheet, so that leaves Drogba and Essien.

Chelsea are playing Hull, Birmingham, Sunderland and Burnley during the African Nations, do you really think we need Drogba and Essien to beat them

Dream on guys, the AN is a red herring brought up by desperate fans of other clubs
Report adybabybaby • November 9, 2009 2:26 PM GMT
the ref in the semi last year was vulgar and at least all us man utd fans admitted it unlike the rest of you guys....why cant people have honest opinions on the beautiful game instead of sticking there heads in the sand and just blindly arguing

p.s. 2 wrongs dont make a right....i hadto get that 1 in,lol
Report adybabybaby • November 9, 2009 2:28 PM GMT
man utd finished??? pmsl....where have i heard that before? ;-)
Report CailiniDeas8 • November 9, 2009 2:31 PM GMT
Will Essien be out of Fletchers pocket in time for the ANC?

Dont think they will raise the bar past their 95 point record haul,85 could do it this season .
Report Lazynative • November 9, 2009 4:54 PM GMT
I wouldn't get excited, we just haven't been that convincing so far; FILTH should take the league but I expect us to win at least one cup comp, hopefully the CL.
Report A.H HUNTER esq. • November 9, 2009 4:56 PM GMT
Deco was a passenger yesterday,we played with 10 men for an hour, that new signing Joe Cole could be a difference ,loved it when Joey kicked Fletcher and Fletcher retaliated :^0 .

Wasn't everyone saying the same about Chelsea this time last year ??

Everyone thought Scolari was God.

Even so i think Chelsea are too strong and will win the league but hopefully The Arse can push them all the way.
