West Ham all over Everton. They've created a couple of good chances already. Franco's just missed from close range.

I'd be surprised if it finished 1-0. West Ham have looked dangerous, but less so since Everton scored. Parker's having a good game. With Saha in their side, Everton have always got a goal in them, too. It was a very good finish.

Report Max and Paddy • November 8, 2009 3:17 PM GMT
I know, GP.

A long ball down the middle caught out Yobo and Distin, but they managed to recover.
Report Max and Paddy • November 8, 2009 3:18 PM GMT
I don't think Everton have had a man sent off - and the odds suggest they haven't either.

Hines close again after Everton got caught by a counter-attack.
Report Max and Paddy • November 8, 2009 3:38 PM GMT
Neill on for Gosling.
Report Max and Paddy • November 8, 2009 3:38 PM GMT
It looks like Neill was telling his team-mates, "Five at the back."

Yobo booked for a foul on Hines. Could have been a red, but I think yellow was right cos Distin was close by.

Report Clockwork • November 8, 2009 5:18 PM GMT
Sorry, Max, but that performance was a disgrace. How you nicked 3 points is beyond me.

Dick Turpin would have been proud of that.
Report Max and Paddy • November 8, 2009 5:22 PM GMT
Where have I disagreed with you?!

I thought Wiley had a good game for youse...
Report Clockwork • November 8, 2009 5:45 PM GMT
I didn't say I was disagreeing, just stating a fact. Fellliano should have been booked 6 times today. Don't know how you watch that rubbish and I'm a fan of Moyes.
Report Max and Paddy • November 8, 2009 6:30 PM GMT
Six times :^0

We are low on confidence after seven games without a win and we are without our two best footballers in Arteta and Pienaar, plus two other skilful midfielders in Bilyaletdinov and Osman.

I'm not sure how you expected us to play - even Moyes admitted, "We have to play better" - but I said after Thursday night that we needed to find a way to win without some of our best players.

Youse will be all right - I was very impressed with Parker today - but any team that loses to a side with Gosling and Hibbert in the starting XI should be more worried about their own problems than how their opponents played.
Report Clockwork • November 8, 2009 7:12 PM GMT
I agree Parker was different class tonight - I believe he is better than Barry as a holding midfielder. he also drove us on today (as most weeks) and should be our captain. I hope Capello takes note.
