i reckon there's a bit of talking through the pocket here.

the tackle on rvp was a foul, but no malice, or recklessness, and the shirtlifting thing is only a booking if he's displaying a political message.

its all very well taking about malice on RVP.

But if yo ugo to ground like that, its reckless. I think Royle said he had his eye on the ball or some such..but if you look at the rest of the bookings, I would be surprised if there were any worse than that challenge, and I would question if there was malice in all of them too...

whether you think it should be a booking or not, quite frankly i prefer refs to adhere tp the laws as set down by the governing body.

care to produce the exact wording of said rule? and i find it a shame that you find the need to be so uptight over someone expressing an opinion - ive already said 'fair enough' if you are right, so why not get over yourself?

i'm not getting uptight at all.merely pointing out what is expected of refs as per their duties and responsibilities.

if you'd care to peruse the law you can probably access it via the uefa website where there's likely to be a link to the laws of the game.
