I have a couple of weeks away and just wonder what ive missed? It appears the United fans did manchester proud by smashing into Barnsley's finest (dinner ladies), liverpool go from bad to worse, Everton are falling apart rapidly, Arsenal and Chelsea get better and better, Hull are relegated (well nearly) Portsmouth win a couple of games, West ham win at home, Spurs are already looking forward to next season, a balloon costs liverpool victory at sunderland and sunderland actually score off a beachball! and little old City are in the top 4 in the Premiership, jeez 14 days in football is a long time indeed :)

Mr Winner tipped a winner. No, hold on, I got that wrong...

If you were away for a few weeks you might have been lucky enough to miss the Fulham and Birmingham games where we (city) were shockingly bad! Hard to believe we are still in the top 4 with a game in hand!

A quite stunning save by Green from a long range, deflected shot by Young.

He then pulls off a great penalty save to deny Young again.

Sadly, this went under the radar due to Champs League.
Report layingisthewayforward November 6, 2009 4:41 PM GMT
^^^ and how about him letting Youngs cross go over his head into the net ?

Its been a tough time for us liverpool fans, despite your next door neighbours visit, where they again**over forwards to help us,

Roy ive been away mate with no access to newspapers what score do you mean? Liverpool 2 United 0 (bet it was double meltdown on here wasnt it?)
Report Injera November 6, 2009 4:53 PM GMT
LTF - his 'cross' curled about 2ft. It was a quite brilliant goal.

i meant the city game :^0 , some money well spent there. I see tevez is setting the world alight :^0

liverpool won their cup final but much like last year will get no closer to the league
Report REDUNDANT PUNTER November 6, 2009 4:59 PM GMT
Roy I think you will finish closer to us than you did last season imo
Report R0ykeane November 6, 2009 5:00 PM GMT
You will put together your usual run when you are out of things so who knows.

It will be timed to build the usual optimism in the summer

looks like your defence needs sorting W0y, 3 v city, 3 v cska, 2 v sunderland, 2 v liverpool oh and 1 v burnley...., little citys money seems quite well spent imo, 4th in the league, game in hand, tevez doing fine thanks, now what about the men in black eh smashing Barnsley up shocking scenes im lead to believe...
Report REDUNDANT PUNTER November 6, 2009 5:03 PM GMT
you just cant cater for united fans imo

Might want to get our defence out there cos Ive yet to see them play 3 games in a row but dont let facts get in your way ;-)

utd in 2nd/3rd gear in 2nd place- standard for this time of the year friend.

Lesscot looks great value
Report REDUNDANT PUNTER November 6, 2009 5:05 PM GMT
roy you only have 3 gears this season 2/3/ and reverse, as a neutral I look forward to the weekend

United conceded 11 in 11 PL games

City conceded 11 in 10 PL games

Both sides have had injuries to be fair.
Report R0ykeane November 6, 2009 5:08 PM GMT
RP as usual mugs like you like to take too much from one off games. As a club we know what it takes to win things and one off games is not it. You may be surprised at how we fare on sunday, chelsea flatter to decieve. Drogba the only real game breaker, lord help them should anything happen to the kid over a 10 game period.

We've had FAR more, but dont moan about it. (nap)

Roy do you think you will splash out in january, or just try to catch up with the current crop
Report R0ykeane November 6, 2009 5:41 PM GMT
0% chance. Who do you get that isnt in champions league? Unlike your club we need our players available for said competition. Major cash could be spent in the summer if prices allow...this summer's spending could be made to look even more silly.
Report EUGENE KRABS November 6, 2009 6:04 PM GMT
City coughing up a two goal lead against a tired fulham side was a disaster ! ( for me ) Don't see them staying in the top four with too many more like that !
