They could only beat what was put in front of them, job done!!
Home side started fast as expected, CB. Once we scored they never really had a look in, could have been double figures on chances created. How Holt didn't get a hat trick before going off only he knows.

I have bet Norwich 3-0 and will also take the 7-2 that they win by 4 or more. Im prepared to be wrong but think the odds are quite reasonable. Looking at Paulton's results they have conceded 3 goals twice and there home record has more draws than wins.

not sure if paulton were overestimated or norwich underestimated for today
maybe historically, teams don't go to non league grounds and smash them
but we've developed quite a nasty streak since lambert took over and have no qualms about huimiliating the opposition

I think we were hugely underestimated. I thought we may have gone for a slightly weaker side but Lambert made clear midweek he would be taking no such chances. On a thread called 'paulton rovers' I did mention that anyone playing would dare not underperform.

Ref gave him a good talking to for kicking the ball away. Unhappy at not being carded he went straight up and stopped the keeper taking a kick from hands :-)
