Yes I am **t at it - I have found about 2 ways to score

1. PASS PASS PASS PASS PASS PASS into area keeper committed PASS pass into empty net

OR

2. PASS PASS PASS PASS through ball CHIP goal.

Dribbling is almost impossible due to the pressure button being too strong for defences and that is normally the most interesting way to play a football game

Never played against computer but I'm sure that would be different, perhaps alot easier but I don't want to play computer.

if you use some of the tricks (step over) etc you can beat players...its more difficult too just run past a defender

I've done all the tricks, once in a while you beat a man but before you know it there's another man there and he's barged you off the ball before you can perform the skill again.

Also, if you are running down the wing with a fast player and kick the ball ahead of you so you can run faster, it makes no difference, the defending player will ALWAYS catch up and be faster than you. Even SWP vs John Terry for example with a metre head start.

It's just my opinion, it looks nice, the players seem to move nicely, the passing is quite good, but it's not a great fun game once you've learnt it well enough and are playing good players as it usually ends a stalemate - I've lost count of the 0-0s I've had.

i find you can run past a player if you cut in from the ring...example evra...running down wing and coming inside and then straighten up it works...just running in a straight line down the wing is an issue..think i prefer 09..scored a 42 yard free kick lol

I never played 09 - the last FIFA game I had was on Playstation with John Motson commentating where you could score from the half way line near the touchline with insane curl - it's come a long way since then it has to be said but I still think Pro Evo wins the battle (although heard bad things about this years)

i have the x-box...andy gray commentating on both..not a fan of pro evo...so easy to score...bad thing about fifa if you play the computer is the opposition finishing is poor...they just keep running into the keeper...never get off any shots...bit of a flaw in the game

Cantonasboots that isn't true, I don't get tanked every game, as I said I draw most games 0-0

if only I've read other complaints about the computer scoring every free kick - never played vs comp so wouldn't know but that would be annoying, especially as many free kicks are given for just pressing.

Being easy-going, what I dislike is that Player 1 always controls the bloke on the training field before a game starts. Vital shot practice that goes against me imo. ;) Can that be changed? I don't own the game so never get the chance to explore the options.

I agree that players' speeds aren't consistent, and adjusting while running doesn't work. The new 360

Another flaw.....called offside in my own half, when oppo pushing forward

Excellent point, tg.

Officials make mistakes in real life, so why is it 100% right on the game? Imagine seeing a replay with the red and yellow lines on the screen to show a slight breach - that the linesman missed. 5% of offsides should slip through imo.

They have also tried to solve the 45 degree shot that flies into the top corner when you cut in from the wing, it sometimes still flies in. I agree with the OP about the method of goals when you play online but it is usually because those who play as defenders dont hold their positions so the square ball always exposes them as does the chip through-ball. Also the wingers dont like to cross in the air, they prefer glory shots or the square pass and tap-in past the goalie.
