Why would you lay 1000s on something that couldn't happen unless you're trying to get free money. If they're bust then they should have factored in the risk (I suspect they're not bust at all fwiw)

betfair don't give a rats ass...commision is the only thing they care about,there bookmakers..period.

In fairness to betfair there's nothing they can do. A bookmaker can use their own funds to say "Tell ya what, we'll give the losers their money back"

With the amounts traded on betfair on each team this isn't possible, and they can't void it because they can't take the money off the winners (unless it's the 2nd test in West Indies and the Indian punters have done their conkers, but hey)

I think they should review things like this so that normal people won't be in ruins by mistakes of TV (specially)... they ought to cancel bets since the 2 goal to avoid colateral damage for these small players....
but that's my single opinion and in spite of been one of those players.....for example if i had won lots of cash with this TV mistake in spite of been angry of my profit been take off its was all for the best off the comunity..i think some accounts will be closed due to bankrupt of some players

I was watching the game, the score showed 2-0.
TV was showing the replay of 2nd mexican goal, never showed the kick from the middle of the pitch, commentators said it was disallowed but no official confirmation and even they were in doubt.
Thing is that when korea equalized they were celebrating like crazy, which means the score was 1-1 not 2-1 or else they wouldnt celebrate.
Even then I have my doubts as all livescores showed 2-1 and the dead scores and markets on BF pointed to 2-1.
BF unsuspended markets when "2-0" and over 1.5 was already closed. Over 2.5 was being offered at 1.14 which was huge if you think the real score was 1-0 witch just 2 minutes to go.
Don't know about the CS because I didnt watch that market.

this is a special situation and it should be taken with extraordinary rules so that users wouldn't be affected for external mistakes

this is sickening. b e t365 showed score as 2-0 so thought nothing more of it, was a winner. saw this thread about an hour later and was absolutely gutted. the salt has now well and trully been massaged into the wounds because i had mexico as part of this accumulator
