I have made a great baracat system and worked out the math, i have been playing it for over 2 months and no losing days, thousands of hands. When does it qualify as a winning system or have i just been lucky? - I'm winning about £50 per 4 hr session

It qualifies for as long as you make money using it. Care to share this 'maths'?

If you've worked out 'the math' why are you asking us?

You can construct a system to give a 0.1% profit 99.8% of the time and have a winning run go for years or even decades.

It doesn't mean it's actually a profitable system, one loss and you wipe out your bank.

0.1% (non-compounding) a day is only 3.5% which is what you can get in a bank anyway.

Fundamentally E(money) = E(money if you win).P(win)+E(money if you lose).P(loss).

You can construct systems that change P(win) but E(money if you win) changes accordingly.

What is your maximum liability in your current system, if it "went bad" how much are you risking?

If you know the maths behind it you should be able to work out the chance you've been lucky vs whether it's a system where you're just waiting for a huge loss.

The math is very complex and difficult to fully work out. I got this guy who was a math genius to do it and it took him hours, so little old me getting my head round it is hard at best. The best thing is the liability is very low on each bet.

Does that mean you have really found an "edge" in the mathematically perfect games?

Nah, it will prob loose at some point - but until then I will plod on as I dont risk alot.

I think the story of "The Death of a Salesman" fits all of us Exchange Games players!
