Hi folks, I am new to betfair but am getting quite fond of Blackjack. I was wondering if its possible to use a simple excel sheet to use on this platform just to place auto bets? If so, are there any available? Nothing fancy, just back and lay. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean you want a bot to read instructions from an excel sheet to place bets ?.
This can be very easily done by any competent programmer who is familiar with the Betfair API.
Whether the bespoke bots like Xfeeder, most often mentioned on here, work like this I don't know, as I have never used or even looked at any of these off the shelf bots for sale or hire.

Thanks for replying YLBotty. Yeah I just want something that will, say for instance, lay the dealer all the time at the beginning of the hand at a certain stake. Just something simple as that really. A colleague has suggested an excel sheet but I don't have a clue as to how to implement it!

Laying the dealer all the time at a certain stake.
I'm afraid to say that something that simple is never going to work, due to the under value odds you always get.
Have you looked at Xfeeder at all ?

I havent...I dont even know what it is!...Yeah i understand what your saying about the odds but i'm gonna chance it for about 6 hours a day and see what that comes up with...penny stakes tho!

What's the point.
You will lose for sure in the long run.
Waste of time and money.
But they're both yours to waste I suppose.

so why do you play then?

C.Soumillon, try X-Feeder Lite plus Time Machine - both are free (X-Feeder Lite is always free, and Time Machine is free during the testing period).

You won't need any Excel sheets. You'll need to key in simple commands and live it running. With Time Machine you can do back-testing on the data saved for previous days.

All can be done in test mode, with virtual money, so that won't cost you a penny.

Then, when you have found the right strategy, you can leave the bot and bet for real at the web site, or you can subscribe and do the same thing in X-Feeder.

I'm not saying that earning profit is an easy thing, but it's better to try and decide than not to try at all.

Now Little botty, go ahead, you're on!

No problems with that Feeder.
Very balanced and fair.

Thank you both....YLbotty...I think you are quite sensible in saying that...But sometimes I have to give in to the demons! But in the long run it will inevitably fleece me out.

Better off spending your money on the twin demons of cold beer and hot women imo.
More pleasure all the way round.
