if i bet or lay on say the flop does my hand stand till the river or if it loses at the point of betting ie flop or turn the hands dead then?

yep. the odds change per hands. i may have even played before but i noticed today that at least once or twice there was odds offered on a hand at the turn that couldnt win so just checkin
