There are a few people on here think that the games are fixed in some way. Would it be possible with this thread for us to come to a conclusion one way or the other as to if the games are fixed or not?

My thoughts are that the games are not fixed, however, if people can give serious, tangible reasons why they think otherwise then I would consider changing my mind.

My brain tells me that its impossible to**the games because they dont work on the same principal as say, a fruit machine. In other words, when you put your money in a fruit machine the software could easily decide if you win or not, end of. The games as we all know are not so simplistic.

For example, A HiLo game scenario.

You lay card 2 for 100 units, the software decides that you are going to lose and it is going to take your cash.
1 second before the round finishes, someone backs card 2 for 1000 units.

Obviously, if it was fixed to make you lose, by making you lose, it would make itself lose even more. So, in a case like this do people think that the software does some quick calculations and decides to make you win and the other guy lose? If this was the case then surely you could use it to your advantage?

its not a matter of fixed. Imagine if you controlled the cards being dealt and you were losing over a period and in this hand (say it had AA as red hot favourite) then u make sure it loses , and at the end of every period as long as u win X then u are happy.

I dont think any of us will ever agree on wether or not x games is fixed. Would anyone believe me if I said I was making real/good money right now and have been for the whole of Oct, Nov and December?

Thanks for the input so far. I know for a fact that there are people making money from them so I believe you Slaxon.

It would be nice to hear some explanations of why some people think that the games are fixed other than just, I have lost some money or I backed a few at 1.2 and they all lost so it must be fixed

If you are making it with pure flat betting then I would be seriously impressed and a mite sceptical.
If, however, you are indulging in some form of chasing, no matter how minor, then all I would say is that it is only a matter of time before you are faced with " big " bet required to get you out of the hole. Then it will be in the hands of God, though not BF ( as the**brigade would claim ).

The only "**" in my opinion is that it is extremely difficult and expensive to join the small niche of market makers.
Apart from that it is simply a case of players betting at seriously below value odds with inevitable long term consequences.

Btw it would only appear to be a very small, vocal minority who think the games are fixed.
Also, they would appear to be a very unintelligent minority at that, given the types of evidence they offer us .
Their arguments are seemingly entirely based of a few, unfortunate personal experiences, which they extrapolate into a generalised critique of the overall operating fairness of the games.
Not very sound or logical I'm afraid to say.
But it's a democracy, so let them have their say. It's of no real import.

I concur Mr Spock. They are unintelligent illogical and lacking evidence.

As far as I can see it's 3-3 in this thread. When was 50% a very small minority.

Well done Jazza. Can I take that as a reluctant yes ?
Report FINE AS FROG HAIR January 2, 2010 8:35 PM GMT
Our posts crossed. So it's not a yes after all.
As I said you are a vocal minority.
I am assumming that the majority is not vocal, that is they are not saying "no**"because they don't see the need to state the obvious.
Geez I hope the double negatives in that balance out to a positive.
Report FINE AS FROG HAIR January 2, 2010 8:45 PM GMT
Btw you're hopelessly argumentative Jazza.
I wouldn't mind if your arguments were at all interesting and challenging.
As it is, they just make you sound like boringly dumb plonker.
Are you ?
And please don't respond with something as unoriginal as "it takes one to know one ".

The top 2 threads should now be renamed, argument between Jazza and FAFH.

Entertaining as it is, its not really helping anyone.

Jazza as you seem to be sure that the games are fixed, I would really value your input as to why you think they are fixed, do you have a good reason to suspect they are fixed?
Report slaxon January 2, 2010 10:26 PM GMT
The only real thing to come out of this for any newcomer to this forum is that the games are either seriously dodgy or extremely hard to profit from. Re read that sentence. If either argument dissuades a newcomer to the games from wading in blindly with money he cant afford to lose.....Maybe that is one thing that Jazza, FAFH, me, Grun and everyone else can agree is a good thing to come out of it. Fixed or not fixed.

Hey all.

Ive been playing exchange games for the past 4 Years, and how many times have i asked myself.... ARE THESE GAMES FIXED???

How is it possible that my system fails time after time, and why is that it always seems to fail when i am layingng / backing .

Is there someone sittng in the BETFAIR chair and pusshi

I am sorry i cannot believe theres a big daddy raping us. I did a simple test I analized data for 1 year, and no matter in what situation i was placed in BETFAIR is a zero sum platform, eg: if you had to back hand 1 @ 2.0 over a years data, you would have won and lost practically the same amount of times, However the only winner would be Betfair because of there commision.

And like most gamblers are, "how is it possible that my AA lost to 52" Simple it happens every day in live games and in internet games.

And besides that the generall person is a freeking** I lost 2000$ In BJ cause i said the dealer cant pull a 5 card trick with a "K" as his face card, he did.............. every one belives there systems cant be cracked you are very very very wrong.

X-feeder is the best platform they let you try for free and runn a test version all the time, however sometimes i have also experienced problems gettig bets on with them.
