I'm starting to use the listRaceDetails method to help time placing bets- seems to work fine in general but yesterday I noticed, or think i noticed, that the races for one meeting were stuck "DORMANT" going through the off when I was testing out it's state transition.
It may have been something spurious but I just wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced reliability issues before I go using it in earnest. If not, I'll chalk it off to user error!

I have used it about 18 months ago, ( Mostly for greyhounds )
There are various states ( I can't remember them now ) but I believe DORMANT was the initial default state. i.e. if you requested for a race 1 hour prior to start, it would return DORMANT. I found the ListRAceDetails call to be too unreliable for greyhounds ( state changes are far to delayed to be of use ) but it may have its uses for some horse race courses. |
