Hello all

I  wish to use statistical methods to find good trading opportunities in horse races. I have good knowledge of what maths to use. I recently download data of past races from betfair data, however I'm struggling to make sense of any of it. Am I just being incredibly thick?? Do you know how to read this data so so to extract the relevant material? Once I understand that, then I can start my analysis. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
LegItJoe

Hi Joe,

Can you be more specific?
Post what you don't understand and I'll help if I know.
What data do you want?
Inplay, pre off, SP, Sports?

Also be aware that if you're looking for trends, that's fine, but not all data is captured in the csv files. They tend to leave out chunks.
