Already fed up with it as had Keane Barry in 2 of my 5 Fantasy Darts teams and he managed to lose at 1.06

By:
Absolute mugfest so far. 6 games, 1 average over 90 and he's out, 2 games won with average < 80

Keane was terrible last night. He seemed better when he slowed down a bit. Fair play to the South African though, was the biggest night of his darting life by far.
It is very dull at the moment. The quality outside of the top 64 isn’t really up to TV standards. |

I didn’t see that game. Looks like Bully Boy trounced him. Nine straight legs.
Would be nice to see him win this. |

Is there a male 18 year old better than Beau Greaves? I know she lost 3-0 but that wasn't a true reflection. She played really well at crucial moments in the first 2 sets and was unlucky her opponent played so well to win each set 3-2 with her waiting on a finish. She'd have won most 1st round matches imo. Such a natural fluid throw too. She has so much more potential than Fallon Sherrock.

It was the first time I’d seen her play. She looks very good. A shame she came up against such a good opponent.
It sounds like the female players can’t keep up with her. She’d have been in territory she wasn’t use to last night being behind from the first set. |

What has happened to this forum? Gone are the days of hundreds and hundreds of posts on this fantastic sporting event. I had so many laughs on here I looked forward to it as much as the darts. As an aside, I’m on Michael Smith at an average of just over8’s.

It did use to be a great read on here, Pauliow.
It’s nearly 10.10pm and we are still only half way through the second game. This 8.15pm evening start is too late for me! I wanna see if Josh Rock can smash it. |
|
By:
i am on smith too why is the starting time so late?
|
|
By:
I’m not sure if it was scheduled that way to avoid any possible World Cup clashes. Evening games are 7.15pm from tomorrow onwards.

Happyhibbee's daily threads a relic of a bygone era. And Studyform's annual forum dart competitions another sad miss which used to have loads of entries. Came 2nd or 3rd in one of them iirc.
Used to follow the darts and bet on it quite a bit, but my knowledge is not up to speed since 2020. Still love watching it over xmas with the family, and have a minor betting interest with the Fantasy teams. 5 teams with 14 players in each. I have 30 players in total, spread over those teams, so have minor interest in almost every match |

Where do you do fantasy dart teams, Clydebank?
|
|
By:
A Dutch site called Zweeler kenbo. At least I think it's Dutch, judging by the competitions it runs. I opened an account 2 years ago when I saw an online advert for fantasy darts somewhere. Each entry cost £8.70 and the prize pool is £7.3k which is 80% of the entry fee. (1049 entries). Top prize is a little over £2k and there are minor prizes all the way down to 141. There is also something called sub leagues on the bigger competitions with a small additional prize. I've turned £50 in £400, but it's very much a casual bettors site for fun stakes. If you enter multiple teams they have to be different by a minimum of 4 players in the darts comp.
Points and values below. The points are additional so if you go to the semis you get 1+2+4+6+8 points. The budget was 200 and you had to pick 14 players, so you have to pick a fair few poor players. The only player I had in every team was Cameron Menzies and the only rule I used was to make sure my teams were split fairly equally into the different sections of the draw Chosen dart player to 2nd round: 1 point Chosen dart player to 3rd round: 2 points Chosen dart player to 4th round: 4 points Chosen dart player to quarter final: 6 points Chosen dart player to semi final: 8 points Chosen dart player to final: 10 points Chosen dart player wins tournament: 15 points Extra prediction Points Winner World Darts Championship 10 Nr. What an absolute bottle-job from Whitlock - losing from 2-0 up in sets, simply crumbling.
![]() Shadow of the player he has been there. |
|
By:
Looks good fun, Clydebank. MVG is expensive at 25% of everyone’s bank. Plenty of value players in there though. Good luck with it.
I only saw the last set, Stu. I hadn’t realised Whitlock was two up when I first switched on. The first one of the tournament too. |

2 sets up & 2 legs up with countless match darts loses
|
|
By:
a third win from 2-0 down
|
|
By:
I wasn’t surprised by that one though. He played well(ish) in the first two sets and probably shouldn’t have been two down. Not a great game but can still cause a bit of excitement towards the end.

ive gone in rydz vs rock for over 120.5 highest match checkout@ 8/15. dont care who does just get it done !! lol

Oh lordy, it's Chisnall time.
Wasn't it Churchill himself who described Chizzy as "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, all inside one of those new Quality Street wrappers they now put around the chocolate triangle" ? |
|
By:
![]() Chizzy certainly has the game to go far. Such a good 180 hitter. He’s probably underachieved considerably. Shame because he’s a very likeable chap. |

Did Wayne Mardle just say it's easier to get a 147 at snooker than get a nine dart finish?
Obviously Mardle has never played snooker. |

Is Wright due to meet Van Gerwin before the final,
if they progress? cheers. |

Merv has put on a few kilos

Wright scheduled to play MVG in the semis. Long way to go before that happens though

Only 2 seeds beaten so far and one of those was to Josh Rock. Clemens and Suljovic were the marginal outsiders too

That Wade is rotten
Really rotten |

sky keep on about the huge upset of wade getting beaten like he was a long odds on chance when in reality he was only 8/15 , hardly a big upset.!!theres been several longer odds on pokes beaten already
