Andy Hamilton v Wes Newton - All the stats show this will be a close affair.  Their last two meetings have gone to deciding legs and I predict that this will also be a close affair.  Both players are on good form and both are playing well.  However, I am siding with The Hammer here.  I am hoping his premier league experience, will just edge "the nerves factor" at the business end of the game.  HAMILTION WIN

Phil Taylor v Brendan Dolan - Brendan has beaten Phil before and know what it takes.  However, if Phil ups his game here it will be one way traffic.  Phil should be way too strong here imo.  PHIL TAYLOR WIN

Kim Huybrechts v Raymond Van Barneveld - Should be a good game.  Both have hit form at the right time, especially Barney.  The suprising fact here is that they have played 4 times and Kim Huybrechts has won them all.  This will obviously give Kim a lotof confidence and no doubt will put in a good performance. However, if Barney continues his tournament form he should edge this match.  Hoping the old Barney head drop does not come to the stage today.  Barney to edge the match.  BARNEY WIN.

Simon Whitlock v Colin lloyd - I would love to see Colin win this match but my head is telling me otherwise.  Their last 3 meetings have all been close but they were all back at the end of 2011. I feel Simon is a much better player since then and has shown better form over the longer format in recent times.  If Simon starts hitting his trade mark "big combination" out shots earlyon then this could effect our Colin I fear.  For these reasons I am siding with Simon.  WHITLOCK WIN

Hamilton Wes match is a coin flip imo

Will probably start with a back on Andy and see how it goes.

Hamilton should be out of sight here, what was he doing leaving Double 1 when he could have burst himself to get another 3 Darts at d10.That could cost him as it would have went 5-3 instead of 4-4.Brain freeze.

Have to say Newton played well in the latter stages there. Deserved the win in the end. Fantastic 129 to win it.

Nearly a full house.  Laugh

Hamilton could have gone either way.

If anyone predicted Brendan's fine win then well done.

THE CHASER - LOL - why tip Barney?!?!?!?!?!  You for real!!!!!!!   Before today he was the best player in the tournament.  (His averages were far above everyone else.)  Well done on winning.  (You could have posted your opinion prior to the match though - easy to criticise after the match)  If you read my post you would have known for a fact that Barney had NEVER beaten Kim before today.  (Bit of knowledge goes a long way)

Well Whitlock Grin

I watched a tournament in Ireland about 8 years ago.  He beat him 5-4.  The tournament was not a PDC event. (Charity event)
