I've not had the pleasure of Whitehall yet I don't think, and Flintoff I can take or leave.
Gwynne is pretty high up on my list of comms I wish weren't comms though, and by pretty high up, I think I mean number one

I can handle abysmal if they don't try too hard. Gwynne's hopeless AND annoying with it! (Though others have mentioned he's a nice guy in the past tbf)
Mardle started off remarkable bearable and has started to plummet in recent times.

Any of you ever been to the pictures and found you were the ONLY one in the audience?
Happened to me once in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Went to see Woody Allen's 'Manhattan Murder Mystery' back in around '93. As the minutes ticked down to the screening I was congratulating myself on this rare accomplishment. As the film started I decided to relax and put my feet up in front of me. About 10 seconds after I did so, an usherette stormed in and asked me to stop doing it.
Ever had the feeling you were being watched?

I went through a phase where I went to a lot of afternoon screenings on Thursdays for a year, in fact I saw every single film for 9 months at our local fleapit. I don't think I was ever the only one in there though, although I certainly came close many times.

It's really incredible the stuff they come out with sometimes. I had the same concerns as you regarding the young kids at the show and there's some other really odd stuff going down there too, like why would you booby trap your house to high heaven and then tell people?

A Russian politician is calling for the country to adopt gun laws like in the U.S., saying it's been a big success there. Obviously he doesn't follow the news.

Exactly my thoughts. He got caught then tells the cops my apartment is booby trapped. If you wanted to do that why go to the trouble of booby trapping it??
Spot on Alun I bought a 3d tv and unless something looks amazing I'd wait for the DVD

Yeah, it really doesn't seem the smartest plan does it.
1.01 gets gubbed and some seether pops down the shops, buys a gun and tests it out on the locals.

I usually like this tourney quite a lot, but it's been crap so far.
We're talking about golf and guns when we should be arguing if Aidy is the world number one.

Everytime I see Lewis's bird I actually think she's a puppet and someone pulls a string so she claps n smiles when he wins a leg

Trying to picture Wimbledon if you see Federer on the opening Monday and then not again until Friday. Think it'll kill the slow buildup effect into boredom.

In fact, I think it was during a weekday afternoon at this tournament that my favourite ever darts forum thread was started.
I'll give you a clue as to what it was, spacing it out with some asterisks to make it harder :
'W***e M*rdl* - The Sc*urge of S*c*ety'

It was started by some totally p!$$ed-off punter who had obviously backed Barney at 1.0x and then had to suffer watching Scourgey giving it the big celebration after pulling off an unlikely victory from off the pace.

Lewis is hardly a role model. Am I right in thinking he dumped his wife, with new born child just after winning his 1st title? and replaced here with that poodle?

my favourite was a bbc documentary 20 something years ago, 'Darts wives' I think. Starts with Chris Mason, showing his life at home with the missus, and how she's left at home while he goes on tour. Ends with Mason dumping here for one of his groupies, a poodle who chased him like a rottweiler.
