What a borefest of a course , if we didn't have the worlds best sprinter , there would be little media interest.

Might as well do one lap and have the sprint .....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Dagan again, even in a pure sprint finish! Surely the best since the uncomparable Eddy Merckx

How many Grand Tours has he won compared with Eddy?

He can't win a Grand Tour the way he rides now, maybe he can later in his career (like Kelly and Jalabert), he can win 1 week tours like California or Paris Nice though. But nonetheless his versatility makes him stand above all his opposition. And I didn't say he is even equal to Merchx, but he is 2nd to noone else talentwise.

Highly entertaining race when you consider what the parcours was like. Well done to Sagan in retaining his crown but Cav will be kicking himself that he got blocked right at the end to cost him the bands.

Not sure Sagan will ever be a GT contender, the days of sprinters being competitive in the high mountains are gone. I agree that he could compete in the one week stage races if the climbing is set to a minimum.
