I've got a day off today. I'd quite like to be spending it on the beach at Lido Di Jesolo but i'm actually going to be taking the youngest for a day out as his school is shut for a training day. Surely, surely, surely Trek and Lampre will help with the chase today which helps Lotto doubly, first it should end in a sprint and second it means they won't have done as much work. So it should be Grepiel's for the taking. Anyone taking the 6/4?

you wouldn't have much fun on that beach today, soaking wet from the sky

Hey, I'm English. I'm not afraid of a rainy beach...

Not entirely convinced by a bunch sprint scenario when the opportunity for a late breakaway chance may exist once they make the top corner and catch the tailwind breeze for home. Would need a TT specialist or someone strong like Tornado Tom to attack with full commitment. No bets at ante-post. Good luck to all. SP

Taken Hofland 30/1 and Ruffoni 50/1, hoping for a bit of carnage. Rain and 5 roundabouts in the final 2km.

Where are those prices nugget? Hofland 20/1 and Ruffoni 40/1 best available.

What was the best available for Greipel?

Paolini 300/1. Would prefer more wind

Gorilla was nearly 2/1 best matched on here, I'm not sure what the best was with the Books as I wasn't paying particular attention for this flat stage. I thought about Paolini, but he has been struggling greatly these last few stages, so that price is probably on the short side, needs more wind and much more form, I think. MC has put a picture of the Gorilla at the bottom of his thread, so time to get in line to collect.

San Doña Di Piave -- This is about where they should pick up more of a tailwind, haven't seen any flags to confirm, but should see the pace come on.

Best price I saw with the books was 13/8 Greipel. I've had a bit on Viviani at 8.8 on here & had small plays on Lobato at 33/1 and Reza 200/1 both each way.

By:
Viviani is a local to the region

Also stuck a cheeky win only quid on Ardnt, Richeze and Henderson just in case there's a crash in the train in the run-in leaving the leadout men to fight it out
By:
I'd be surprised if there wasn't a crash

Got to be gutted for the mayor of Jesolo. A sunny day today and it would have been an amazing advert for the beaches. As it is it doesn't look that inviting.

We're coming up to that right turn and bottleneck onto the bridge

Laying Gorilla -- looks nervous and no support!

By:
Bling looks good here...

By:
Well, well. Contador loses time, Porte loses 2mins as does Konig.
By:
Viviani well placed but just didn't have the legs. Think Greipel lost places due to the crash.
By:
two hundred metres to the safety zone ......very odd crash.
By:
Think we can definitely rule Porte out now. GC will have a very interesting look to it tonight.
By:
Funny thing is, if Sky had been giving Viviani the full scale lead out train he clearly needs they might have avoided that crash altogether
By:
They've ballsed up that GC, that must be from the bike's transponders - cos Contador came home on Juul-Jensen's bike.
Aru Land + 1.14 Kreuziger 1.38 Contador surely at about +20 |

+19 for Bertie.
