To celebrate the start of the cycling forum, as well as the upcoming Dauphine and Tour, here's a drinking game in honour of Eurosport's coverage and Sean Kelly and his many sayings.

General Rules
You will need a plentiful supply of beer and spirits. You will need Eurosport. You will need some friends.

When to drink
Helicopter footage of roadside bicycle with children walking in a circle for the wheels = three shots/fingers of beer
Helicopter footage of old monastery = three shots/fingers of beer
Footage of urinating riders = one shot of spirits
Intermediate sprint won by breakaway = one shot of spirits
Mountain sprint won by breakaway = one shot of spirits
Intermediate sprint contested by bunch or sprinters = three shots/fingers of beer
When any French rider takes maximum sprint or mountain points during any televised footage, the last person to hum "La Marseillaise" must down a beer.
Person in mankini running by riders = three shots/fingers of beer
Any rider(s) crash = all open drinks must be downed

Commentary drinks
Sean Kelly says "Make the calculation" (or making/made etc) = One shot/three fingers of beer.
Sean Kelly says "Majorly" (pronounced May-jerrly) = One shot of spirit. Two shots of spirits if the full phrase is "Suffering May-jerrly"
Sean Kelly says "The Tour of France" = One shot of spirit.
Sean Kelly says "The big, big favourites" = One shot of spirit.
Sean Kelly replies to a question with just the word "Certainly" = one shot of spirit.
Sean Kelly says "On the rivet, as we say in cycling" = All drinks must be downed.

Sounds like a tough couple of months coming up then for the liver. World of pain. Let's all hope that Thomas Voeckler is prominent in at least one stage in the Dauphine. He seems to bring out the best from the commentators.
