Each to their own NFL Man.

I'd rather come off worse from a meeting with Vlad The Impaler than watch this manufactured tosh Crazy.

Noticed the women's game was on the BBC so watched the second half of the first innings; 57-8 off the last 65 balls. No comment. Grin

MI London left a good 20-25 runs in their 1st innings. They really look a bit thin for batting after 6. Few overcast clouds in London for the opener.

The whole thing gets w@nkier by the year. Half the teams changing their colours is just a pain in the ar$e.

I went to the Eliminator a couple of years ago. Manchester chased down about 220 off about 80 balls. I've rarely been so bored - this is not cricket.

Not a big fan of the change of colours for sure. It feels weird seeing MI London in blue instead of lime green. And The Sunrisers Leeds in orange than purple.

Being a fan of NFL i presume you are in to all this franchise stuff.

But for most of us life long cricket fans its ...... simply not cricket Sad

MI London restrict the Sunrisers Leeds to 143 in the opener, bowling them in 99 balls. Its advantage MI London at the change of intervals in the opener.

On a different note: I'm curious as to how many cricket fans in the World refer to batsmen as 'batters'.Of course the PC wokers of the BBC have no doubt insisted that the commentators do so.

If the women want to call their batsmen/batswomen batters that't their choice. But calling male

batsmen batters is, well, just batters!

About as exciting as an Andy Burnham cabinet meeting elis.

Vaughan & co acting down wiv da yoof gets my goat but keeps them on the gravy train i suppose.

Early thoughts. I reckon MI London ladies might finish last on the standings. They genuinely looked horrible yesterday in the season opener. Very much felt like Sunrisers Leeds ladies were in 1st gear cruise mode.

Sky's commentary is a pretty mixed bag. Stuart Broad turns out to be a surprisingly good commentator. Eoin Morgan has some amazing insights, but he will not shut up - and he shouts all the time - so the insight is lost in drivel. Tash Farrant has a first class degree in stating the bleeding obvious. And Ravi Shastri is Ravi Shastri (but at least it's not India playing).

I find the Hundred unrelatable and unwatchable. The idea of "supporting" a franchise full of mercenaries is anathema to county fans like me.

Nobody really cares who wins and i bet even most who watch it would struggle to name the previous winners.

Yes, I think players moving from team to team to team is a real weakness of the competition.

To call that a choke job from the Welsh Fire ladies in their opener vs the Southern Brave would be an understatement.

Southern Brave W look a very strong side, on paper.

Well fair to say I didnt give the Manchester Super Giants ladies much of a chance yesterday. They bowled really well as a unit. I kind of think their team suits playing at Lords very well. They do look a team that is better in bowling , more so than in batting.
