Really bizarre response from Betfair. Countries with appalling weather records have the completed match market. I do like a weather trade, not that I'm any good at it though.

Hello Ryan, thanks for getting in touch.

The Completed Match market isn’t missing due to an error on your side — it’s simply not being offered for certain Melbourne‑based Big Bash fixtures. This is a trading decision made by our market operations team.

A few factors can lead to this market not being created for specific venues or matches, including:

Venue‑specific risk considerations, such as weather patterns or historical interruptions

Data‑feed or integrity‑feed inconsistencies that prevent us from confidently settling the market

Liquidity or risk‑management decisions made by our trading team for selected fixtures

These decisions can vary from match to match, which is why you may see the Completed Match market available for other Big Bash games but not for some Melbourne home games.

They talk about liquidity and risk but that makes zero sense for the exchange side, there is literally zero risk. Surely they are answering for the Sportsbook.

OK, It has roof at the Marvel stadium. Jeez, the response was daft. The completed match market is there primarily for weather trades.
