Batsmen walking when they know they've nicked it is a thing of the past, it's not cheating to stand your ground and anyway the tech is there for a reason and should have sorted it.
Can you name an English batsmen (current) who would have walked in the same situation ? |

TV company is Australian too, deliberately using
bowlers end stump mic instead of batsmans end mic. Cheating Aussies, and for what? To win by cheating when they could have won fairly. How very Dik Dastardly |

Just to reaffirm that batsmen do not tend to "walk" these days - in the last test Joe Root was given out caught behind on review - the on field umpire somehow giving him not out despite a noise and an obvious huge deflection off the bat. Did Gentleman Joe walk ? Did he heck ! And i don't blame him, but let's not lambast the opposition for not doing so when our own are just as guilty.
We are clutching at straws with the "cheating Aussies" claim, it's desperate stuff. We have been outplayed so far in this series, pure and simple. |

I was replying to Bish Bosher's post, not you troll. I've long stopped taking any notice of your posts as you are just an ignoramus who cannot partake in decent conversation.
No wonder this place is like a morgue with the likes of you around. |

Carey said he hit it, Carey said he would have reviewed it if given out.
Either he's an idiot like dixie or he knows there's cheating going on. |

Come on, less of the “click of god” stuff. Haven’t seen ANYBODY walk uninvited by an umpire since Colin Cowdrey!
Totally dominated so far chaps. |

Even Aussie tactics could not enable them to give Bangladesh a game yesterday. They were humiliated.

It's always good to see the Aussies taken down a peg or two Sage, but we must remember this is a second string squad on tour at the moment.
No Head, Smith, Starc, Cummins, Hazelwood etc. These results happen now and then and the Banglas have some decent players. They have been a Test playing country for 26 years now so are no mugs. Second ODI tomorrow should be interesting. Kent have just signed quick bowler Hasun Mahmud for six County Championship games, the first Bangladeshi to play for us. Will be very interesting to see how he gets on in English conditions. |

Bangladesh have some decent quick bowlers.

None of the Aussie bowlers that are missing are getting any younger. They outclassed us in the Ashes but for how many years can Starc, Hazlewood and Cummings carry on? Batting is different. I could see Head and Smith playing for another 8 years.

That is correct Sage, i think the Big 3 for the Aussies will be around for the Ashes over here this time next year, but there has to be doubts that they will all make the series after that down under.
The cupboard is rather bare in their fast bowling dept once those guys retire, on all known evidence anyway. But they have a knack of unearthing new talent so don't be surprised if they do so again ! |
