Another 13 mill traded on tonight’s match,is it really that popular,1 mill on super cup footy.
What’s the attraction ,has to be overseas punters, traders.

There's obviously a lot of dipping in and out cuth but there's also far more liquidity in like for like soccer comparisons before the game starts , assuming they also dip in and out of soccer in similar fashion it makes soccer liquidity look abysmal , supported by the fact in soccer ( although i've only been told as no interest in the sport ) you gets gaps in the prices and quite bad ones in the lower leagues so reckoning without BOTS soccer in play would look even more grim.
Maybe expected as there are very long passages in soccer when literally nothing happens so it's just a case of the draw shortening with the other two odds compensating.
We'll never really know for sure obviously but we do know it's huge in Asia as the IPL averages around £60 million per game throughout the competition.

Manchester Originals collapse to lose to Welsh fire.shocking.
They are patently not good enough to win this.
from what ive seen the best teams are:
Oval, Northern Chargers ,Southern Brave and Trent Rockets.be surprised if the winner wasnt one of those 4.
As you know im on Oval to win in the outrights.

Talking about Saffers and their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory as we have been in the Cricket , the Rugby Championship game vs Australia today went like this..........
Saffers were -17.5pts on the handicap pre game
Saffers led 22-0 after 30 mins and matched at 1.02.
22-5 at half time.
Final score Saffers 22 Australia 38.

Australia vs Boks first ODI , Australia just about to lose from 1.27 and change of conditions a key factor , Aus chasing less than a run a ball were ahead of run rate at 60-0 but then " spun " to 89-6.
When you consider Australia were 60-0 after 7 overs and ahead of rate chasing under a run a ball it confirms there are some good cricket traders out there with the lowest price matched being 1.27 , but with changing conditions dew etc it's a thinking mans betting sport and more evident on the cricket forum more than any other in my view.

Hi guys just want to have a seethe while dragon’s internet is down.
A seethe and a portent at the same time.
£15 for two citrus chemical IPA’s.
The money men are taking over cricket do not doubt it.
Not sure how this works with Lords or MCC. The Indians are coming and cricket exploitation of fans is going to be a cross between American “ Franchises “ squeezing every potential cent out of you and the Indians having absolutely no regard to the game or the fans and will similarly squeeze every rupee.
Before my second game of the week I loaded up on London Pride at £2 a bottle on the canal with friends then walked to Lords.
I am not ‘aving it. I made delicious deli sandwiches too as I refuse to buy the pelt they call food at £8 for a hotdog.
Seethe over almost. The cricket was generally poor and unexciting. I’d rather watch Test Cricket I have to say.

Having been away from Britain for most of my working life haven't watched any cricket until recently.
Since when and why are batsmen referred to as 'batters'?
Is this another surrender to the woke brigade ? Is it to do with women cricketers ? Surely if they
want to call women batters batters that's their prerogative. But why should men be called batters?
Surely that's batters isn't it!

Rog, in order to cement their position amongst the modern day wokerati, the MCC amended the laws of cricket in 2021 so that the terms batsman and batsmen were replaced by batter and batters.
Apparently they wanted to make the game more gender neutral. Pathetic.
I refuse to use the new moronic term and will always use batsman or batsmen.

I see on the Hundred to captions show 11 batters left, that threw me for a while!
It’s our game not theirs. Refer to batsmen or women as you wish. I am more concerned about paying £7.50 for a pint of chemical beer

I am not sure the MCC can write the price of a pint in to the rules of cricket WD.
Sounds the standard price for Landan these days. Be a tenner soon everywhere the way things are going.
Used to be about 50p a pint in The Pentagon watering holes back in the day, do you remember the good old Blue Grot'ole and the VD bar ?!

Re MCC I am not blaming them as it was not their event. What is concerning me is the increasing way they see us as cash cows.
We have seen how the Amerikan Franchise system works. Indian Billionaires are utterly ruthless and they learned off the Masters at this…. Us!
The saving grace is players like Mohammed Siraj and Ben Stokes.
Also I think if I am paying £7.50 a pint it should be London Pride or Guinness. Having said that I paid 60 Sovs for a bottle of Chardonnay at the local Sushi plus another £70 for a few bits of fish. Mrs ‘Death tucked me up like a kipper. I did even want to go out and then after having my trousers taken down I ate a whole tip of noodles and prawns.

I've never understood why Guinness is so dear WD, i could drink it all day as it has never affected me in the same way other beverages might.
On my frequent football weekends in Liverpool years ago the matches were often switched to the Sunday, so my companions and i would spend the Saturday afternoon in the pub drinking Guinness as it was the only drink we could stomach having got caned on the Friday night. This then put us in good stead to go back on the lash that evening. Luckily there were no early Sunday kick offs in those days
Going back to the Pentagon, i see it was its 50th anniversary this year, an article in the local rag was interesting. It mentioned the lunchtime "artistes" that in those days performed in the Van Damme bar. How very 70's

Tbf the girls at the time were a lot better looking than they are now.
I drank some Murphy’s in Fiji once. It does not travel and the heat is not good for it!

Feel envious you guys talking about downing the good stuff and certainly brings back memories from my drinking days , unfortunately was diagnosed with Cluster Headache syndrome in May 2018 and the verapamil and such i take means strictly NO alcohol , so over 7 years since i've touched a drop. Don't give it much thought now but have to admit being sorely tempted when dining out , thankfully i've the willpower to say no.

People were smoking cigars last night and I desperately wanted a chug, even took two Henri’s home but I know I must not smoke.
I was on the Johnnie Walker Gold Label last night. I am not a whiskey drinker. I really enjoy a drink and like a good ale or Guinness. I think I could live without it if imposed on me for health reasons but the reminisces would be tough. You have my deepest sympathies!

I've never smoked either WD so considering my apparently clean living feel unlucky to have had both Cluster and Pancreatitis over the last few years , i can probably vouch for saying near enough the two most painful conditions out there.
Crazy knock from Liam Dawson here has given us a decent total to defend

Sneaked into members at Taunton in 2000 and saw Atherton and Ganguly put on 192 for Lancs in a one day match. It was a scorcher and recall the ale was both excellent and reasonably priced. Be interested to know how much it is now for a pint at Taunton.

Perrie Edwards was the singer i believe Dragon, another expensive waste of cash befitting of The Hundred.
I watched a bit of the women's game and couldn't believe how short the boundaries were, they were closer to the square than the crowd ! a pretty underwhelming final by the look of it.
And as for not reviewing that LBW shout, words fail me.

Hayden, you are probably wise not to drink with your headache issues but i thought it was ok to do so when on Verapamil ? I thought they were basically similar to Amlodopine which i have been on for high BP in recent months, my GP says it's ok for me to drink alcohol whilst on them (in moderation of course).
Raining at Scarborough i see, wonder what the DL situation is ?

Dixie , you're correct regarding Verapamil alone but i'm taking Pregabalin as well which makes it a definite no according to my Neurologist.
Tightest of finishes at Scarborough , i'm hiding behind the sofa

Well done to Hants Hayden, bit of a choke by the Yorkies there but just goes to show what keeping the pressure on can do.
Also congrats to Worcs for stuffing Somerset, they have been a surprise package this year so should be a good final, just hope the weather plays ball on the day.
Of course the Gillette/Nat West final used to be this equivalent weekend or the following one, having to wait until the 20th is all wrong and yet another reason to detest the bleedin' Hundred !
