In truth I do like watching the IPL and the emergence of the young players. Remember it was me that said Pant would be a superstar.

Sunil Narine was my biggest disappointment. I really wanted to see him and the other great West Indians play test cricket and most did not.

I have to say I was more excited by the emergence of Jaiswal when I first saw him. It is hard to comprehend how good this new kid is. He certainly has something special. I want to see Jaiswal in Test Cricket. I do not know what to make of this kid. Only time will tell.

With regard to an increase in games…… the times they are a changing wonders. The White Man’s burden is almost over. India have learnt from their Imperial Masters how to control and humiliate and take everything. The Saudi’s can do it without any competitive sport, they have the money.
