Oh WD. Another chance for you to lose another bucketful of cash. There is only one game in town and that's in the heartlands of test cricket. Australia's record in Test match cricket is so far in front of the also rans it's embarrassing. The Poms soft underbelly will be exposed again as it also does when you get to play in front of our hostile crowd. NZ a walk in the park when compared to playing against the greatest test match nation since it all began. Australia v India has been great to watch and I hope Siraj has learnt his lesson for being a particular naughty boy. I have heard he may be out next test match with a rickerty neck after seeing Travis flick him over mid wicket for six after six and treating him with utter disdain. England did well didn't they? Nobody really cares cobber.

Don’t choo worry ‘bout that son, won fousands on the previous series…documented!
I like the Convict / India series.
Let’s see what your old men are like when the ball is not swinging under lights.
Welcome to the Gabbatoir! What happened last time
After India batter you all round the gaffe you will not know whether to prepare green tops or roads. You have 1 batsman of note and 4 fantastic but ageing bowlers. Let’s see what happens to them when India pound and pound.
I fear for some of your batters mental elf next winter. Carse and Atkinson plus either Wood or Archer alternating and Stokes. Even Crawley if he is not replaced prefers your wickets! We have a number 3 now. We just need a spinner.
I might go for one of the Tests too, which one would you recommend?

Carse and Atkinson will find it a lot harder playing in front of our crowd than the very pleasant and gentle folk of NZ. Bumrah a great bowler but Cummins has been excellent for a long, long time and showed not only what a great bowler he is but also a great leader, something I initially questioned when he got the captaincy. The boys are ageing somewhat but they grow a leg when they play the enemy. I would go to either Melbourne for the iconic Christmas Test match or to my childhood home of Sydney. Both great venues to attend. Only problem is that it will probably be over by the time you get to either one of them . Enjoy if you go, you will never want to come back. My forecast 3-1. Mr McGrath says 5-0.

I will put a word in for you my Pommy friend. Plenty on here would say your betting has been pretty criminal over the years. You are not a typical Pom are you and under the thumb?

I liked Sydney. I think Melbourne is the Mecca but The G is so big. I have always wanted to go to Eden Gardens but am wondering if Adelaide or Woolloongabba might be a better bet? There will be tens of thousands of English descending over Christmas and New Year. I am not a football fan. I will not be waving my shirt over my head. Watch out for the Lions Tour. I think there might be even more rugby fans than cricket fans next year. Sadly both groups will be infiltrated by football fans but hopefully they will not let down our sport or our country.

Thanks. You might be. I just enjoy great cricket whoever plays it even Pakistan.
I remember the Rawalpindi Express bowling at Shane Watson in a World Cup I think. He had him every which way on toast and the hairs on my neck were standing up. It was like a Heavyweight World Title Fight bur Watson to his credit saw it through, I have no idea how but it was tremendously courageous. I might have a look on YouTube. Not quite Holdings over to Boycott or as pitiful as Brian Close’s ordeal but it was electrifying nonetheless.

Looked hard going batting. Middle of summer and rained off. Was really looking forward to the game. Not sure what to make of the Poms performance. Stokes very classy giving Southee a guard of honour. I liked that.

India a little unlucky today. Aus clearly on the ropes!
Ominous signs for the Ashes with The Triumvirate looking a little vulnerable now and one year older next winter. Englands middle order looking solid. If they can find a way to deal aggressively with Lyon Aus are going to have problems. Same with the last two Tests here.
The next two pitches are going to give India a better chance. Let’s hope we see some good cricket.

India extremely lucky to get away unscathed. Outplayed throughout this test match. They will be thanking the rain gods. With regards the Pomms that was a pretty horrible defeat. Archer will be injured for the Ashes as he is a walking sicknote and the rest of them do not inspire. Whoever thinks Root and Brooke are the best batsmen need their heads examining. It will be the same old story.

Give the lad some credit. If it was bazball you would be salivating. Khawaja should have been straight over to the little runt to give him some ****. We are all over this despicable lot. Bumrah reversed sweeped for sixes. Only kids made in Oz would do that.

That’s the difference between us and the Convicts. TMB thinks it was good tic tacs and I think it was disgraceful.
Fair play to the Bubble for not knocking him over. Saw him signing autographs and taking selfies with kids. Top bloke. I hope he can bat and is not just a lucky slogger who will have a glorious if somewhat short Test career

Think both sides will be reasonably happy. India fought back well in the last session but what was Marsh playing at. His place in the side is looking suspect as has always been the case for me. Oz could have batted the Indians out of this game but for some indifferent shots and leaves. Think the young Indian opener will love this place and I fear him especially without Hazelwood. Kohli is a disgrace and always starts nonsense. Not sure what you are saying regards the particular incident as I concur.

Yeah sorry I missed something. I assumed ( thought even ) that you would appreciate Kohli head butting the line. Then someone threw the ball at Marcus. I though5 that was pretty Australian…..if you’re not cheating, you’re not trying hard enough. On reflection I think it should have been 100% match fee and one match suspension. Not a great way to end a stellar career.
If India cannot bat 5 sessions they deserve to lose. It is theirs for the taking. Sadly they lack at least one class seamer. Too much on Bumrah atm.The batters owe him bigly.

Kohli and Sharma both need to hang up their boots. Sadly that run out cost the young man another Test century. Regardless of that incident India have so much young talent like Jaiswal that deserve their chance at this level

Kohli has been a master batsman even a Goat but he is constantly getting out the same way. He really ought to go at the end of this series at the latest. Even Dhruv Jurel the reserve wicket keeper is more deserving of a batting place let alone Gill or Sarfraz Khan.

Jaiswal was batting beautifully, but there was no run there and he showed a bit of inexperience imo. I know it's his shout but he has hit it straight to the fielder and Kohli was right. The young man is a right talent and didn't look like getting out. Boland the best of our bowlers and we go into tomorrow in a very strong position. Smith's dismissal was unbelievable but he batted really well.

Maybe but you don’t turn your back I’m alright Jack. He should have shouted out a big NO. There was something going on just before. He turned down a second and gave Jaiswal a look. He is not the Don anymore and has to go imho.
This is a pretty good Test wicket. Still no reason why India cannot make at least 400 here. I think the run line is 296.5 and worth consideration. 346+ pays 9/4 and is certainly worth a speculative imho. If the two at the crease see off the first half hour Nitish looks solid and Sundar certainly capable.

Great Test match to watch. Fine innings by Reddy but those last 2 wickets give us a chance on a day when I thought we were lacking a bit of spark from our bowlers. Draw looking the probable result.

India would have been battered and lost this series already without Bumrah. Dirac has been out if sorts and they have missed Shami or a bowler of his kwality. Similarly Aus might have been battered if India had one more World class seamer. I am surprised they did not try Prasidh who has genuine pace.
Both batting sides have looked brittle. India are almost 2 down with Kohli and Sharma. Aus have similar problems. Bumrah and tgd Aussie attack are too good.
I think Australia will win this. There is a hint that the pitch will spin tomorrow and India will have too much to do. It may well be a case of how many wickets India lose to the new ball. The pitch is still good for batting.

played down by him at the end of play interview on ABC Radio - says he can bowl as many as required...how true that is you make your own guess but I don't think it will prevent him bowling..just the potential impact on his effectiveness though..

What a fantastic test match this has been. The 2 best Test Teams by a country mile. At 99-6 it was looking perilous and what a sensational spell from Bumrah backed up by Siraj and Akash who I thought bowled really well. Bumrah's figures are truly outstanding. However we have dug in and the tail have been great and puts us in with a great chance. Can we take 10 wickets in a day. I don't think so. Draw for me.

Today's Zimbabwe Afghanistan game draw went as low as 1.45 and as high as 14.5! Some draw layers must of cleaned up with less than 50 overs of play. Don't think I've ever seen a first day like it

Still recovering from one of the best Test matches I have ever seen and we do it all over again tonight. God knows what is going to happen in this one.

It was out my dear boy. Fingers clearly under the ball. Shockingly bad decision. Thought you might have come on to congratulate us on our MCG win. It was very good wasn't it.

I was surprised Prasidh did not start the series. Tall with pace, a good first changed to keep the pressure on. The pitch is obviously helpful.
Highly enjoyable watching.

Sad end for both Kohli and Rohit in this series but India have been two batsmen light all series. There is so much talent available. India could play 4 or 5 wicketkeepers good enough to be selected purely as batsmen. Really poor selection.
Brings to the crease stupid, stupid, stupid but what a player he is….. still!

I don’t think India have anywhere near enough. Tomorrow is another day. Pant was running down the wicket. Will it still move around tomorrow…. Who knows!

If they bat as badly a# they have this series they are going to get destroyed in the Ashes. They played against a side carrying two non functioning batsmen and with only one functioning bowler and still struggled to win. Schadenfreude that in your poor and smoke it.

Oh WD you silly sausage. We were clearly the better side over the series and deserved this win. This was Test cricket at it's best. Will be like playing against a club's second eleven when the Poms show up.

You sound utterly ridiculous. Call yourself a cricket fan. Typical Pom can't stand the truth. Brought youth in who did a fine job and had to contend with a sensational bowler. Struggling? We didn't just win we won in a canter. Starc and Cummins made more runs than Kohli and Rohit. Cricket is in our blood my delusional Pommy friend, unfortunately for India it's money that is in theirs. 1.5 billion people against a population of 26 million and we just carry on winning and winning. ADVANCE AUSTRALIA FAIR.

Like I said they carried two batsmen and could not properly support their strike bowler.
Your bowlers are getting old.
You are going to be humiliated.
