Flashscore.com had Ireland batting, now has both teams on 12/0.
Good Irish accent on commentary, reckon he'll be supping some Guinness with the teams later tonight.

Countdown to Nadal v Federer in the semi, could be their last ever match.

They may be administrators/coaches of Irish cricket or other tie ins.  Irish cricket gets ICC income now.  its not rolling in it but its not skint either.

Union Jack flying in the background, never heard of Bready before.

Bready is a small village in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 93 people. It lies within the Strabane District Council area.

One of the largest crowds ever to turn up for a cricket match in the North West of Ireland was at Magheramason on Thursday August 13 1987, when, to mark the formal opening of the club’s fine new pavilion by the late Alex McBrine (Donemana), a Viv Richards XI played an Ian Bothams XI. Both of these world leading cricketers scored excellent centuries in the match which produced some exciting cricket throughout.

Whats the cut off for a 5 over match?
Report Neekz July 12, 2019 4:42 PM BST
And what would be the target?
Report Cardinal Scott July 12, 2019 4:45 PM BST
No idea! this has become untradeable until I see more play! ......put the tennis on!
Report Angoose July 12, 2019 5:12 PM BST
Using the standard DLS 50 over resource tables (which I don't think is the way to do it), the target for Ireland in a 5 over game would be 50.

Zim resource used is 56.6 minus 42.6 = 14.0
Ireland resource available is 17.2
Par Score = 40 x 17.2 / 14 = 49
Target = 49 + 1 = 50

Digging around for a 20 over resource table but can't find one …….

Apparently, the method I have applied to a T20 from the 50 over resource table is perfectly valid.

"For matches with less than 50-overs per innings before they start, the resource percentages available at the start of an innings will be less than 100%. But the same table and the same method of calculation are used whatever the number of overs per innings."

I love stuff like this, obscure calculations attempting to apply scientific principles to unscientific human behaviours. Silly

My rough and ready calcs say that Ireland will have an adjusted target.

Will be (Zim score x 40.2 / 39.5 ) + 1 , a relatively small uplift of 1.8%
will see what the professionals come up with Happy
