Money for a team means nothing. I'll have to check above but did you say that at the time?I've got all the stats & if you re-read the thread you will see that I said earlier batting 1st is an advantage but not much of 1 this game for the reasons I've givenand that's why aus drifted back out having shortened on the toss newsso spare me the lecture ta
I've looked but not diligently so please quote where you say these things.

Aus 78 for 3 after 20, 30 overs left, giving 61.6% of resources available, 38.4% of resources consumedTeam 2 with 20 overs have 56.6% of resources availableTeam 2 Par score = Team 1 score x Team 2 Resources / Team 1 Resources= 78 x 56.6 / 38.4 = 115
Aus have already batted and used up their resources, the only figure that matters from them is their final score

Nah, not in a 20 over match, they set out to play 50 overs, the whole point of DLS is to equalise for the fact that they didn't know it would be less than 50

there's a few apps on google play store that aren't 100% accurate but close enough within a few runs if you want something to test it against or can't be bothered writing new sheets
