IPL 2019 - UK Coverage

apparently sky have sold the coverage to an internet streaming website called hotstar if the rumours are to be true, no idea why sky have done this as the IPL is the biggest cricket event of the year, its a joke nobody from sky has come out and said anything on this, its going to make betting and trading on the IPL really tough unless theres somehow a fast stream which I doubt

Will be OK if betfair/365 put streams up otherwise TalkSport 2 who did games last year

Seen the Hot Star rumours - means pictures will be miles behind.

I’ve seen them being asked 100 times now without reply.

Hi, yes i did confirm it in my previous tweet. Sky agreed a Multi-year deal in 2018 for 60 Live IPL matches each season. We are still waiting on the confirmed schedule. ^DW

if they are negotiations its look far better then it did a a few days ago, the rumours suggested sky had sold the rights away, the owners of the IPL arent mad, they will want the tournament on tv in the UK and will come to a deal

The biggest event is the Kia Super League.

The Bangladesh Criminal League and the Pensioners' Super League are much better.
The Canadian one is the best. Gubbings all over the opera.
BBL has dropped considerably, the last season was absolutely dire

Canada Global T20. The only T20 league I look forward to.
There is also the tenty10 or whatever the fk they call it that will debut this season in the UK. The 10 balls per over 10 overs per innings crap. Hopefully its good for betting.

Mind you, the Canada T20 league hasnt yet been approved for this year as the usual dates clash with the World Cup. But Cricket Canada are preparing for it. Will probably happen late july or early august, though thats also the time for Cabbage Patch League.

Sorry I could not help myself with that. I digress!

I don’t know for sure but I think is a contractual issue. I called Sky yesterday to find out why I was not able to watch Channel 887 on Sky go and they said it was a contractual issue. They only had permission to show it on on Tv not streaming on devices.

I did not realise but it would appear BT sport has live coverage so today I shall try to watch on BT Sport 3 ( Sky Channel 417 ). I will also try and stream from BT on my tablet. Maybe tomorrow I will try my BT box and report back.

I have also found out you can get stream with a Hotstar streaming package for £59.99 p.a. It is an Indian streaming platform which yo7 might ge5 other sports on and maybe India games.
