Haven't been watching... Is there any rough for the left handers? Softer ball and Ashwin not as effective, these guys could build a big partnership
I have not been watching either, only listening (5LiveXtra) but I heard Ed Cowan talking about how there will not be excessive spin for Ashwin.

Even so, it's amusing that people were backing Aus at under 4s to achieve something that has never been done here before.
Never been done before is a little silly though. How many games have been played under these circumstances here?
For one, it is now a drop in pitch. Been a couple of games on it.
But there has been plenty of 4th innings here where more than 323 was scored.

Possible but already 4 down and with Paine’s limited merits not including much actual run scoring, a humping seems more likely.

Behave FS Paine has done well with bat, and he was a hero in Dubai a few weeks ago.
