It may be for Curling....this venue is the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club and for a large part of winter is under snow.
Actually that is probably a load of bollocks ....I've got the wrong cricket club....could still for Curling though.

Deano is an investor in the tourney I am pretty sure about that.
I can't recall which tourney it was but he was the mastermind behind another tournament like this, probably in Dubai. But that one never took off.
or maybe it was the games they played in the US with world xi in a baseballl ground.
