India deserve to be short priced favourites IMO. Pakistan need bowling friendly conditions to make a game of this, and they are not going to get them, as the forecast is warm and sunny. As previously stated, this Pak team can't set or chase much more than 250 and that will be nothing like enough against Indian batting under sunny skies.
I decided a couple of weeks ago that India were the best team in the comp, and in all likelyhood only English weather/conditions would prevent them winning. And bet accordingly in the outrights.

Don't think anyone could possibly have foreseen this score. It's one of those I have to accept and get on with next game.

Pakistan couldnt have had a better day. As i said earlier, their weak link did a massive job and if they don't win today, then its a shame.
i lumped on when Pak openers were going strong around 2.6-2.7
Never got enough on at odds I wanted. It's not a terribly big loss. Uncomfortable but not disastrous.
I could wipe debt but that's pushing it too far for me. I'd have no come back.

As i said right at the start of the thread, I wont get involved because I firmly believed Pakistan weren't allowed to play well. I was wrong. But still wasn't going to get involved as am always scared of Pak and windies.

And I have to concede defeat to Stokie by about 50 points. Which overall is virtually nothing but also must admit that he deserved to win. He was in the lead for most of the time and but for Aussie games being rained off would have won more convincingly.

Pakistan bowling operated in a different league this tourney. Only team to get reverse swing and if im not wrong also the only team to get conventional swing(read that only southee got it to swing briefly against bangla?)

I thought Pak were ahead when I went to sleep around the 30 over mark in the Pak innings, but thought India would get reasonably close.

The big surprise to me wasn't that Pakistan bowled out India cheaply, but they managed to post such a big score batting. Was not expecting that.

I am going to give this a miss. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to watch the game so despite my view that Inida will win convincingly also have a nagging feeling it might be Pakistan's " turn ". I'd rather enjoy the game for what it is than worry about F and C. That is a sorry state of affairs but that is how I feel about it and that is all I got to say about that!
