Only 4 Tests played here. 1 draw and 3 results, although one of those was a thrashing of Zim. Similar forecast to Barbados. Last match against Aus, seamers took most of the wickets and over in 3 days. Although Bishoo had a sixfor.

Considering they won the last Test handily, WI look a big price at nearly 6. No news on Shah's injury. But if Shah doesn't play and WI bat first, I 'd fancy them for a win.

Laid the draw as usual, and had a back of WI.

Never quite know how much to factor in recent form. I still think this is a bad WI side that overperformed in the last game but 6s do appeal somewhat. I'm just laying the draw, for now.

I just dont see how anyone can put money down on a Wset Indies v Pakistan Test Match!

Absolute madness! I dont even know where Roseau is! Ok now I do.

Waiting for an opportunity.

Funny thing is I didn't watch for the first four days of the last Test but had a speculation / gamble on the draw. At the start of play the West Indian commentators / ex players were talking about WI winning the game and I thought they were on crack. I even made a comment at the start of the day that WI might win this if Pakistan were Pension planning!

It just shows how good Test Cricket can be at times even with these two teams. I am not sure of the rosters and maybe Pakistan will be a weakend side and WI must be confident so maybe a pre match gamble at 6 based on a favourable toss is worth a punt otherwise I shall be looking to wait and see.

When you have emerging players it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking they're rubbish...

I knew Chase in England 2 years ago and there was nothing to suggest he could step up. Look what's happened!!! Myself and friends are gobsmacked by his sudden improvement. He wasn't trusted to bowl in club cricket and his batting was poor.

Hope played a quite brilliant innings, playing for his future, his career, his life.

Pakistan did little wrong apart from lose the toss. Shadab was correctly targeted and fell apart which was a shame as he's a massive talent.

I think he'll be dropped for Riaz.

As for the pitch - Law has said he wasn't happy that it was so Asian. I thought it was laughable, especially as Windies played 3 seamers and Pakistan only 2. Look what happened though... Bishoo didn't bowl on Day 5!!!!!!!!

Test cricket makes fools of us all.

It's wonderful..

Any idea of the weather ?

Unlike Barbados, I expect the forecast showers to arrive, but I don't see us losing many overs.

I've layed the draw too. Not particularly worried about the weather.
I would love to see West Indies win again but the market says otherwise as usual.

Barbados forecast 3/4 days out was for showers most days, but that improved dramatically at the start of play hence why draw drifted from 3.5 to 5.1 at the start of that match. Given that there was not any rain whatsoever the draw traded as low 1.6 on day four !! The forecast for Roseau is again for showers, but the models currently suggest these could well be more heavy and prolonged, but still 72 hours away from the start and all very changeable as this is the CaribbeanHappy

Not making any bets yet, would wait to see the weather before the start of the game . Would want windies to go short as i would be laying them to begin

Think Pakistan are a little short at around the 1.83, given the forecast for days 1,2 & 3 and that the windies won well in the end in the last test Happy

Windies might as well this one , but it wont be one way and so long Pak are competitive they woukd trade even shorter, so my thinking is to short windies now and get out of them at their first mugging which is highly possible

"current" forecast precipitation levels during the hours of play - day one 10mm lunchtime onward. day two 30mms through out the day. day Three 10mm before lunch. days 4 & 5 look relatively clear but a long away off, and of course all subject to the Caribbean weather patterns !!

Draw has shortened a fair bit. Too much to be from the small change in the forecast. I'm guessing a Pak bowler may be out.

forcast of heavy showers, some prolonged is holding up, unlike in the last test at barbados, if a Pakistan bowler was out then the windies would have shortened not drifted Whoops

Not sure that will weaken the side, he looked a bit raw in the last test. He's only 18 so probably need to play a fair bit of 4 day cricket to find the right lines/lengths to bowl in tests. Looks a great prospect though and I can see him being a threat in the future.

Then again we are betting on weather forecasts most of the time & how the market reacts to certain updates. The end product re weather is what i'm talking about in the post above, with regards to all the online forecasters tbf

I suppose the weather here is even harder to predict due to it being right on the coast.

The accu weather radar for this part of the world is in 15 min intervals, not 1hr so that's what I will be focussing on during the game

There is a new bug in bf that stops some markets updating like this one. I thought it was fixed, but no.

The weather generally comes off the east coast and the ground is on the west coast. Should make it a tad easier
