Seems to be more interested in Snooker these days Charlie
You mean he's been pre-occupied with not accidentally going for the brown instead of the pink lately?
also took a horror red on Leicestershire doing Lancs in last nights royal london cup....I'm in a horror patch at the mo ....so Bollocks and double bollocks to those who says no one on the forum admits a loss.

I almost went full bank there and decided to stay out of the match ..I saw what happened later and took a sigh of relief..

Anyone see what happened in Somerset v Surrey one day match yesterday? Insane comeback
Yep, managed to lose cash from all green in that one as well as on almost everything else yesterday and day before. Today was going okay until this game!

Game on now!
Should still be easy but a quiet over and a wicket and it gets pretty tight.

Could have took that with 2 hands easy!
Don't be that harsh..

Even if the next 2 are good overs who would bowl the last one..that mug Irfan who was brought in for bowling and batting is of no use
This is what I feared...Pathan mug bowling the last over..may be Jadeja would have been the right option..

£40m matched. This normal?
Don't think so but Betfair not getting any commission on it. Super over already over half a million matched.

Not been loving the IPL last couple of days. It's been very good for my premium charge mitigation though, by costing me thousands.

Free money at the end there should Bumrah only needed to avoid a no ball or wide for a win. Having been losing money hand over fist recently I only took £2k at 1.05 though.
Super over market, don't that dead heat if the super over is a tie???

"if scores are tied at the completion of both innings in the Super Over then the market will be settled as a Dead Heat. Any tie breaker that may be used to determine a winner including but not limited to higher number of boundaries, higher number of sixes, losing fewer wickets, coin toss etc. do not count for the purposes of this market."
Remember getting burnt by it a couple of years ago.

Good spot! Will remember that for future

So if dead-heat rules were applied would a 1.05 back bet be settled as a 50% loser?
Yes, would get half stake back plus half stake times price taken so lose almost half, I think.

Ffs. Went to bed and just woke up. Was trying to work out why balance hadn't gone up. Penny dropped, checked, ffs.
At least you didn't lay the tie really hard, like I did. Felt far too low with a few balls left, although looked dangerously likely with one remaining and Malinga on strike.
Would have been added comedy if I'd lost on the tie market I understand then also on a tie in the super over counting as a dead heat, which I completely failed to understand.

Been reading the above. Never given it serious thought as to what happened in the event of a Thai in super-over. That would have been a very cruel way to lose FS.
It pissed me off when it happened to me; bet twice on the winning team (match odds and super over) yet lost thanks to that. Was arguing with betfair about that rule since the game had a valid result but it was impossible for anyone who backed the winner to win.
Its worse in practice as teams often knows who going to win in case of a tied super over, so if it's 2 off 1 to win the batting team may only need a single to win on the tiebreaker and act accordingly.

Although in that case the defending team should bring all the fielders in to prevent the single so might balance out at least somewhat.
Except unless they hit a boundary, the batting team aren't going to bother running two so the most likely result is a dead heat.

Nah, pretty sure they run for the win, just in case they've miscalculated.
