AB out. Watto captains. If Gayle fails, their batting looks thin.
By:
Wait for the toss back whoever bats second.
26 of 39 full IPL matches at Hyderabad have been won by the chasing team. |
By:
Sample size isn't big enough for statistical significance.
By:
Really? What test are you doing to suggest 26 from 39 is more likely just random that of any statistical significance?
By:
Confidence intervals. To be fair, it's in the region of statistical significance, but sample size isn't big enough to be sure.
By:
Statistically there is nothing like a minimum sample size . Just the estimates get better with larger sample size

Warner at 3.25 with Hills to be top Hyderabad batsman looks interesting.
He got a 50 in the test match the other day and been in India a while. 47% top bat last 3 years for Hyderabad. Not saying he should be 2.13 but 3.25 looks big. |

Even with an obviously depleted team RCB aren't going to be a pushover. I've laid Sunrisers for a small amount at 1.79.
By:
And for the curious from other threads there's a stand off between backing and laying at 1.78 and 1.8 3k against 2.5k. I'll put up £2 and see what happens.
By:
So far nothing. Just before posting somebody took £2 so non the wiser. Bastards.
By:
Tried it again just out of curiosity.
By:
Now £179 on at 1.79.
By:
£790.
By:
Wrong thread.
By:
I was surprised to see Watto was the third highest wicket taker last year.

There's nothing like IPL in world cricket and I can't wait for the games to start. Hopefully this season is going to be great for all us punters here :) Sunrisers have won the last two games against RCB including last season's final, RCB are usually slow starts, tough to pick this one but I would go with RCB.

No Brits were never the saviours. You can't save something by inventing it because it didn't exist before you invented it.

If RCB bat 1st I'll be on them but not straight away coz they will probably drift! I will not be on Hyderabad if they bat, more like a drip lay!

7.30pm Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose to bowl

Layed SRH at 1.83 after the toss. Hope Warner does not get off to quick start.
