A result venue, but a fair amount of rain forecast over 3 or 4 days.
Pakistan were poor in the 1st Test and I expect them to be better this time, despite Misbah being out.
The weather should give us some nice draw volatility, but IMO we will probably get a result. Pak at mid 5s looks big.

HI fellas, was in a meeting all morning, had some left on the draw so not too upset but really thought Pakistan might have gone for it a bit more, especially since they are 1-0 down.... o well looks like its going to tame out for an inevitable draw...
They should send the two bowlers in for a slog. Imran and Sohail are great hitters
The good thing is, you can come in on this deck and hit from ball one
who are they going to send in now.... that will dictate intent surely.
Babar 14 off 20. Sorta seems like they want it. Have they faffed around too much in the morning for this to be a bit too late?
massive ask 7 an over, that 1st session 65 runs in 35 overs killed the run chase !!
Pakistan are notoriously boring with securing draws.

looks like these 20/20 traders are here already.. Pakistan down to 12.50. If I were 10 years younger I would half bank that to lay but don't have the balls for that anymore.

agreed, I really can not see Pakistan chasing these 210 runs in around 30 overs
timber.... ah no always at the most useless times. New batsmen, takes time to get eye in etc.

Thats the problem for Pak, too easy for NZ to bowl wide balls
singles and dots...pak are so frustrating in these positions.
The thing that is in the draw favour bigly is that NZ can bowl 2 bouncers per over, can bowl down leg and not get wided etc and there are no fielding restrictions such as in a one dayer. So it is a very tall ask for Pakistan.
NZ into 8, if they get another wicket will be down to 5!

I saw the draw at 1.14 when i randomly woke up at some point during the night(Pak still hadnt lost a wicket). Then i woke up at Pak 6 down with 12 overs to go I think. Didn't bother to see the price.

Went down to 1.08ish and Pak hit single figures for a second or so.
One of the worst displays of cheating or strategy in recent times
1) Started going for the runs far too late
2) Sent the batsmen in, in the wrong order. Should have sent Safraz 3, then Sohail & Imran to slog
3) Decided to shut up shop when 1-0 down!!
4) By deciding to shut up shop KW took the new ball in dark & cloudy conditions. If Pak had continued going for it, KW would have kept the field out and the old ball.
5) By sending out the bowlers for a slog, the "proper" batsmen could have been saved for the end.
Pak had KW worried for a while, he had the whole field on the boundary.
Good old Safraz found another good way to get out
Went for a crazy two, when one would have kept him on strike.
6) Each tail ender was told to play at balls outside off which they could have left easily!

They always do this. But with Arthur as coach I thought maybe he'd have told them that before sending they bank ld have busted mm in.
I would have been busted if I had been betting on the game. Such a disgraceful performance.
