Glamorgan (2nd full squad) at home to Somerset (bottom may play fringe players) 2.04 - Why? Can anyone explain?

I can't. I thought they were good value at 1.9 this morning at 11:00 so backed them only for odds to go out to around 2.06. Had a back up at 2.1 which wasn't taken and now odds have gone back to 1.9.

I still think 1.9 is a good price! Maybe prices are based on the Botham and Viv Richards Somerset team!

This has been bugging me for a while and the only explanation i can think of is that because of the hot weather teams batting first have done very well recently and I'd expect the odds on the team batting first to shorten. In that case it becomes more of a coin toss.

That's the only explanation I've heard so maybe it's right ! - I've been asking around no can understand it.

It was an idea I had for the IPL when a lot of teams chasing won. Of course I was too stupid to always take my own advice.

Then again it could just be manipulation of the market which has happened a fair bit recently.
