Strikers clearly the best team on the comp IMO. At home they should be hotter favs than they are. Market waiting on whether Khawaja plays for Thunder. He has got some good scores in the comp, but a small sample and I'm not reading too much into it.

160 a chance of coming, matched as high as 11/1
adelaide have to bowl pretty well to keep thunder out of this
semi final pressure, dont think its close to being over
its been a good batting wicket, bit of extra bounce for the bowlers
not sure if this stat helps but at Adelaide Oval in Big Bash & State based T20's. chasing side wins here 13/34 times
Not sure if that is an omen for Adelaide to go on and win
Also this is the 3rd time, 159 has been scored batting 1st in a T20 fixture here in Australian Domestic T20 history, the most , thats the mode

targets chased down on this ground from my database: 185, 176 (this season), 160, 159. I think the target gives Adelaide a chance, going to be a few twists and turns . Thunder going for the equal 5th highest chase on this ground
im not convinved by khawaja in this format and shane watson is a liability now
Watson still has power in this form of the game. I don't really like him as a person but he is still in Australia's best 15 in this format.
Khawaja is playing with confidence. Dont know how he goes under pressure chasing. Its easy to score runs when there is no pressure sometimes.
i probably favour Thunder to get this, something like Adelaide 43% v 57% Thunder

don't agree with holding back laughlin and rashid when you only got 159.
they're now at the stage where hitting rashid for 4/5 an over is absolutely fine.

hodge is a very ordinary captain imho; he's been EXTREMELY lucky on a number of occasions.
not sure was Hodge's captaincy CV is, so i can't comment on history so much but he has definitely missed a trick tonight
if I was in Hodges shoes tonight, would have definitely bowled Rashid in the opening power play, probably before the 4th over

Finishing 1st in the Tables at the end of the regular season is a curse. 0/4 teams have won the title from that position. Teams finishing 1st, lose the semi-final match 3 times out of 4.
Reckon there should be a double chance for finishing 1st and 2nd, like they have in IPL. A single chance eliminator for 3rd and 4th
no way. straight knock-out. none of this sh1t to ensure Srinivasan's side always plays at least 2 of the 3 final matches.
I prefer it when the group winner goes straight to the final, think the CPL does that
Khawaja another flat track bully. Clown won't get double figures in the Ashes next time it's in England
