Simmonds in for Finch probably strengthens MI batting, and puts MI in with a decent chance, but CSK tough to beat, and I think CSK will probably take it.

I have bet on CSK. Awesome batting starting with openers then middle order and late innings hitters, decent bowling with Ashwin and Mohit.
MI have huge problems at the top of the order and also with a game plan. They can score heavily over the last 5 overs but the game is usually up by then. Their bowling is lame and malinga no longer carries the fear factor. Having said that in The Extremely Talented One, Anderson and Pollard they have three match winners. I just don't see them getting sl;l their ducks in a row too often. I would probably only bet on them with heavy odds away from home against one tof the top sides where they are more than capable of springing an unlikely victory against the odds. I think MI have been mismanaged for at least two years and recruitment has been a disaster. I think they have let go Dwayne Smith. Mitchell Johnson and the Big Show to name just three. |
