Also going to have a small wager on the first ball going for four @12/1.Providing Australia have first knock the 12/1 is way to big.

Well on the World Cup 2015 thread, I tipped Australia to win the tournament and nothing I have seen, as changed my mind. However this will be a very very tough game for Australia, as India have improved all the time. Another very close match, in prospect, which in my opinion is worthy of the Final itself.

first 100 million matched market coming up if close..

What will be amazing is seeing the the SCG being a pro Indian crowd ( think it will be 75/25 )
Aus are the better team but if they bat 2nd chase anything over 260 under lights I wouldn't touch them. Just watch how rabid the Indian crowd will be tonight and the atmosphere they will create for their team |

Happy to back Aus straight up batting first. 95% chance they'll be shorter at change of innings.

A layer of Aus. @ 1.4 although I hope they win (after I've greened out hopefully).

I'm an apprentice on the cricket WW, but a couple of wickets pre 40 runs somewhere around 1.75. I'll be happy to nip out at 1.6'ish and take another look.

strange that 9 out of 12 batting second have won here.
I think however this was a crucial toss to win for Aus. I am really disappointed as I think if India batted first we would have been served up a feast. It will be difficult for them now. |

Finch very very lucky to still be there, he has no idea where the ball is when Shami bowling.

By:
is it a sell out
|
|
By:
out!!!!
|
|

Apparently it is a sellout slip5, I tried to get tickets a couple of days ago and it was listed as "Allocation exhausted".

what mugs backing 300 at short odds
|
|
By:
i think the pitch may not be what it seems, early days though

Those that are listening to Warne's 350-400 prediction? He has since retracted and suggested 300.

as far as I'm concerned the Aus batting is unproven against top opposition at this WC
|
|
By:
will Aus go above evens today?
![]() |
|
By:
same pitch as SA/SL. That turned out to be pretty tricky. Aus could tied down with spin
|
|
By:
Shami at Finch, this over. It's pressure alright. Nice 4 off the first.

Good batting from Finch. Looks like he's settled down a bit.

I remember a big bash game, when he was saying Melbourne stars were under par with about 170 (with the roof closed!). The Renegades were 50 all out

My chuckle was at jucel69's post. But works for both, I guess.

finch needs to lose the pounds if he wants to play a test match
|
|
By:
Loads of Irish waving the Tricolour in the crowd and by the looks of it most of them have caught some sun
|
|
By:
Malcolm Colin cowdrey
a fine athlete and finer batsman. I don;t htink you need worry about finch's weight as much as his technique ! |
|
By:
lol how can you diss cowderey he was ten times better batsman and fielder than finch
