my guess is that they are realistic. they know they aren't good and they take their positives from small things rather than the result.

These were my projections from the 30th over, or at least the spreadsheet I am working on.  Worked pretty well this game.  Might be something to work with.

Think Bangers are huge unders.  Big wicket down already, and they bowled terribly.  Scots with their tail up, should cruise this.

Wow I got over 248 runs before a ball was bowled at 17/10 on BF sportsbook. Can't believe I got a bit worried by it. Reinvested some of my winnings on Tamim top innings scorer and a small saver on Shakib. The old Tamim from 4-5 years ago needs to come back who slogs everything out of the park. Doesn't hit everything like he used to.

This pitch isn't going to change at all and Scotland got just as poor a bowling attack as Bangladesh and Bangladesh got 3 top class international batsman in Tamim, Shakib and Rahim. Still think their is a lot of value in Bangladesh at around 11/8 - 6/4 to win the match now.

Davey averages 18, and Wardlaw 26.  Hardly pie throwers.

Compare that with Anderson or Broad, who have 4 between them, and hardly a simple pie chucker.

He's a good county bowler but he's hardly going to trouble a team batting properly (not looking to up their run rate or smash it out the park for last 5 overs) on a flat docile pitch like this. None of the Scotland bowlers are. Haq will probably be their most effective bowler today be some way.

And I wouldn't use Broad or Anderson as the barrometer of good ODI bowler :D It would be interesting to think when the last world class fast bowler England had though. Surely it has to be Flintoff which is worrying.

Guptill, McCullum, Elliot, Buttler.

Not too bad. 

Of course match conditions and all that, but they aren't all that bad.  Better than the rubbish Scotland had to face anyway.

Agreed Wisewords. Heart in the mouth stuff there from Tamim thought he was a gonner at contact but shows how small the boundaries are. Scotland need to introduce spin or do something different because this game could be gone from them in the first 15 overs.

Scotland need to parachute in a new group of bowlers.

The Bangla batters are scoring faster but it all seems a lot more edgier than Scotland were

The Bangla batters here just need to get it at a managable rate for Shakib and Rahim to knock it around and they will be fine. They are doing just that, remember this is the same wicket Ireland cruised to victory on v West Indies with a similar target and Windies bowling obviously ten times better than Scotland's.

Don't think they are really riding their luck. Taking calculated risks but not just slogging. Tamim playing some lovely cover drives.

Mahmudullah's six was very dodgy

Haq and Machan slowing Bangladesh down here. Pressure building slowly.

Bangers are in a great position here, should really push on and win quite comfortably. No excuses.

That is one of the most bizare wickets I have ever seen. Mahmudullah could have injured his foot and all. Bangladesh going to struggle to get 11 players on the field for the England game.
