from what we've seen the English seamers aren't going to worry the Banglas,I have no faith in Tredwell but he has been taken on tour so give him a go. He really can't be any worse and I think it would have to be Broad who makes way, probably be Woakes though as the 2 legends are too big for Moores to drop.

in all honesty, all 4 players who have yet to be picked, should be now...
Broad and Ballance would be the first 2 out, with Finn and Taylor being my other 2 choices to be dropped

broad has been taking his one day wickets at an average of 47 since the beginning of 2014 and has done nothing remarkable with the bat. It is astonishing how he keeps getting the new ball, let alone getting picked. I don't really care who we bring in his place, can they be any worse? He needs a serious kick up the arse if he is to fulfil his potential in the second half of his career, i sense immense complacency, arrogance actually. He genuinely believes that he is so much better than he actually is.
I agree entirely about Ballance, not necessarily because of his ability, but because our top order really doesn't need another "innings builder" in these conditions. We need at least one more gun batsman in our top 6.
Finn needs to be told to bowl as fast as he can and to hell with the runs. We do not need another 75mph right hander our side who does nothing with the ball and the second tier stuff he's serving up is not going to build his confidence. He needs to bowl fast. Right now, that is all that matters.
I can't imagine why you'd get rid of Taylor though. He should be batting at 3.

wait till we get knocked out then hear how it was a learning curve for the youngsters and that everyone has to go away and look at themselves and then this summer we will start to build with the aim being to win the world cup in 4 years time

I find it incredible that so many of us feel the same way but the sentence should read " I find it credible that so many of us feel the same way! "
Somebody must take responsibility for this and we the people must bring them to account or find somebody who can. The British disease is not laziness as some would have it. Most people in this Country want to work. The real malaise is unaccountability!

Need to get rid of Downton and Moores, why everyone wants Morgan out, surprises me. Cook went, as he was too slow. Our bowlers are getting pummelled all round the grounds of Australia and mainly New Zealand, can Morgan doing anything about that, apart from changing the bowling side not really and if we do change the bowling side, we will still concede 300-350 every game, you can't captain a side without the tools to work with.

agreed, everyone wanted cook out with morgan captaining anmd taylor in also, ok these things have HAPPENEDE AND IF ANYTHING WE ARE PLAYING EVEN WORSE. now all forumites want morgan out(even tho they all insisted cook had to go).the fact is at the moment it wouldn't matter who captains or plays the players are t6otaly(understanderbly) at an all time low confidence wise.morgan seems o be the most out of form of all the players yet weve seen him play loads of very good knocks in the past.

I'm surprised at the stick for Morgan - at least one day cricket is his forte, and if we had any sort of bowling attack, I would fancy him to do alot more with it than Cook
England have been garbage at one-day cricket for 20 yrs in the main - Morgan has no chance with this shower, and although his current form isnt great, he is the best one-day performer in the team on his day and merits a place in the team on past performance

I don't think many fans have been on Morgan's back. Some have been cheap shotting because he is Irish. A number have had a go because of his poor current form. We know Morgan is a capable ODI player and a good finisher on his day. He was just an easy target. Personally I don't think he should have been made Captain at the time he was because his form was bad. At the time it was clear. Foresight was plain. Hindsight is not mythical magic we all knew what has come to pass was going to come to pass!
I am still waiting to see if Broad can possibly get dropped. Treadwell should be given a chance and Hales must be given the chance to play the sacrificial lamb but the fear of him making a dazzling play will frighten them enough not to give him a chance even though the odds are stacked against him.
I just hope the Yorkshireman loves English cricket as much as he does Yorkshire.

was it so recently that Compton and Hales were being lauded? 20/20 and ODI's are very different games to orthodox Test cricket yet the ECB believe the fundamentals to be the same, they are not. It is like asking Mo Farah to run the 100m and 200m double at the next Olympics because he has good technique and applies himself.
