except the fact that if the 20/20 finals day had been rained off yesterday, Anderson, Bell, Woakes, Buttler would have not been available today !

it would have been a 2 hour dre for those players and they could have played sunday, even sri lanka changed venue for a one day match against pakistan cause a rain it can be done
It just shows how little faith people have in the accuracy of the met office's forecasts when despite them saying there will be non-stop rain in Bristol for 22 hours from 11pm Sunday and especially heavy rain from 7am-7pm Monday, the price on it being dry enough to have a result in this match is only 7/2. 
Indeed, would take the forecast being drastically wrong to get a CM.

completely free, live 20 miles from Bristol. Solid clouds and rain. No let up. Ground will be saturated even if rain stops. Had all the money I can muster at 1.1
People seem to assume that when it stops raining play begins... At least two hours of mopping, then light issue. Frankly a 1.03 price is about right

Clearance seems to moving quite quickly up the Bristol Channel, so whislt still very poorly, I'm not sure this one is completely dead just yet.

Ive got rain radars 3 hours in front. They r in 5 min intervals but only projections

Yeh I was 4k down until they gave more time and u could see on the radar the gap in the weather! Eventually made a nice bit but that was very stressful
On this game im 2quid green on no and 3k green on yes. Just want 1.15ish really!
Have laid 1.03 to bank profits and hope for a small bounce to 1.05
Only needs a comm or cricinfo to mention the weather clearing and the odds will move

Im reading the weather forecast hour by hour predictions 2-3pm 80% precipitation, 3-4 pm 90% precipitation, 4-5pm 5% precipitation, 5-6pm 20% precipitation, 6-7 pm 20% precipitation

Why doesn't Bristol have floodlights? You would imagine every international venue these days would have floodlights as a minimum
Our man at the ground says: 'An update on when this might be toast. We believe the latest play can start is around 3.45pm and the groundstaff have warned that it will take two hours to mop the ground up, if and when the rain stops. So, with that in mind, the rain probably needs to stop by 1.45pm or an abandonment will be called. Prospects of any play are not looking good.'
