It's OK we are used to uneven spread of things associated with test matches - just look at England wins Shocked

Collect the monthly interest, which is about that.

Yeah I though there was nothing till October but have noticed

September 5th at Kingstown West Indies v Bangladesh, first of a two match series.

Bit of a break then from 22nd October through till 7th Jan its wall to wall test match cricket, with three test on at once on quite a few days.
Everybody involves with the exception of England which does seems a bit strange. Anyone know why?

cos they want to prepare properly for the world cup. normally they'd have an away ashes series this winter but they moved it to stop them having an ashes series followed by a world cup

it's a good chance to give players who play everything a proper break before the crazy schedule they have next year. obviously won't see broad until the new year and i'd be amazed if anderson goes to sri lanka either

Hard to accuse England of not taking ODI cricket seriously when they have cleared the period from now until the world cup to only play that format. Not convinced it will make any difference once the world cup comes around, but at least they've made an effort.

There is an opportunity to rest players, although the last big break England had was after the last India tour of Eng in 2011. Seem to remember 2012 didn't go well after that!
