hard to see windies even getting close to surviving without any rain within the next hour odd. Doubt very much we get the full overs in due to light issues later, but windies should be all out before then regardless.
looks a beautifal evening in barbados, so much for the typhoon the rampers promisied

Agree with your sentiments there Foinavon... Cook would have butchered this game. This is how test cricket should be played and it makes for an exciting game. All 3 possibilities still in play.
Had this been Alistair Cook captaining, he would have let Williamson (161 n.o.) go on to 200, and a 400 lead.

If I was a WI batsman and got out to Williamson i would have it reviewed even if it was plumb! he is a chucker but I don't care right now if he gets a wicket!

Wi still a small chance. THis game has got everything. IF anything the New ball will give more runs than not so WI should be lower than the draw if no rain about.

NZ lost 3 fewer wickets and I thought a tie was impossible when WI were 8 down in 2nd innings.

Windies chased 308. Had it been 307 all out, it's a tie. 307-9, it's a draw (People still backing a "tied match - yes" at 50/1 after all these years).
Very frustrating test regarding the weather, laid the draw pre test, got out of it by backing it back as the rain fell on the 2nd day and laid off at lower prices. It seemed when they forecast rain it didn't rain but rained when it wasn't forecast. Couldn't bring myself to lay the draw this evening as didn't trust the weather. Onwards to Trent bridge!
